Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

Oh Amy, I sympathize with you on the weight. Just hang in there. Weight loss is supposed to be slow and gradual because that way it will stick. It will be a result of healthy life style changes and not some rushed craze that is unhealthy for your system. One of these days, you will get on the scale and you will be down by 8 lbs and not even realize it! I hadn’t weighed myself since last Dr visit so I was very pleased to see the 6 lbs down! I have just about given up because I just can’t work out right now so all I’m able to do is walk and started walking more. Anything to get this weight loss to kick in again! You are doing a great job so keep it up! Varying your exercise is great too and keeps your different muscle groups engaged. Good for you! You go Amy! 😀
Thank you for your kind words! I’m going to need you to get me through this! But soon it will be behind me and I will feel better and have energy again! I am still waiting for the call on the sleep apnea test. Thanks for the encouragement; I appreciate it.
I hear ya about the walking outdoors! Soon it will be too hot to get in 3 walks a day, maybe even two! It doesn’t cool down here at night in summer. The coolest time is around 4 or 5 am which is when I get my walk in when it’s hot. I am praying for a cooler summer than usual.
I don’t recall any odor from the grey boxes but I will check it out and let you know when the Heidi goodies come. Yes, I got the dazzling delight in the green and can’t wait to get it! How do you love your gold? Beautiful, isn’t it? Today I am expecting the TS in jet/clear. So happy to know you like it (other than the box).
It’s lunch time and then more boxes to move. Working at a slow pace because it’s warm and I’ve got a lot of boxes to move! Ugh. Have a good one! I will be back on later to let you know when I get my Heidi! Kitty hugs! 😀

Oh…the Peleton. I love it. It is wonderful and what a workout. Still, it is the dang weight that plagues me. So one day Peleton, one day swim. I had my hair colored today and stay still on thar day. I have to do this every three weeks otherwise my hair would be all grey. Bummer. Oh well.
We also have an elliptical which I like. I could use another floor on my house or……stop bringing things in. The weather is getting hotter and more humid now. Much better to exercise indoors. The state bird of Florida is the mosquito. I will walk Ari but walking outside is not an attractive alternative at this time of year.
Meanwhile, your tests sound very good. We will get you thru the stent in every way we can. You are young and vital. Plus, the kitties will be on your side. I am happy with my Heidi. I did get the gold Dazzling Delight with my coupon. Did you get the Green. Okay…if you did….did the box have a bad odor? Mine did. When I got the blue one months ago….same thing. The odor goes away once outside the box. Needless to say I threw the boxes away. Strange.
Love to you and the fur baby contingent.

Good morning Amy!
How are you? You sound like you have been busy lately! Are you still enjoying your Pelaton? I am still hoping to sell my elliptical. What an expensive mistake that was! I want a treadmill that folds up because my house is too small.
I am expecting my Heidi purchase today. I hope I love it! My other Heidi purchase will be here on the 1st. I have several of those Diane Gilman boyfriend sweaters too and LOVE them! I have a few in my shopping cart and fully plan to take advantage of the free shipping today! I have black, blue, grey and wine. I am getting another black, possibly navy. I need another black because my Ernie got overly amorous one day and put his claws through it while “making muffins” on me. I can’t throw it away because it reminds me of him and all our cuddle times. I use it now for my walks and wear a black cami under it so you can’t see my skin! Ahh, kitties… 😀
Hope Jerry and Ari are doing well.

Ps…..I adore these produce outfits.
And…did you ever watch Deadwood on HBO. It aired for three seasons and then ended. This is over ten years ago. A little raunchy in some arenas but one of the best acted shows I ever had the pleasure to watch. Well, tonight Deadwood the movie will air on HBO. Jerry, Ari and I will be watching.
-
Yes, let’s hope the Bichon got home. Ari and Poppy are dreaming of little furbabies finding those that love them.
The Heidi Daus arrived. I got the TS suite in black/clear which included the necklace, button earrings and bracelet. Wore it to club last night with black Diane Gilman V-neck boyfriend sweater, White crops and white two-inch city sandal heels. Got compliments. Heidi takes a simple outfit to new heights without being garish. The Gilman sweater is perfect. I love it. Went back and got the last navy and one in cranberry. All set. I thought I would need to get the perfect v-neck from Eileen Fisher.
I am hoping all is well.
Hugs to Poppy.

@Cherie,
As far as canned cat food, the kitties love chicken and beef. We put both on the plates. The kitties all love fish too but we can’t put it down anymore at meal time because they all like to eat together and move to each other’s plates. Chewey gets really sick from fish and since we discovered the correlation he has been doing so much better and has even gained more weight back! I guess his fish sensitivity is something he has developed later in life because he used to eat it and love it all the time. When the kitties are all eating it sounds like rain because of all their little tongues lapping at the same time. 😀
I have not been to Costco in ages. We order our food through Chewy.com and we can even order prescription food from there. So convenient. 😀
That’s really funny about the beef jerky! Those wiggling noses are so adorable! Your kitties liked melon? Mine don’t go for fruit but Ernie used to stare you down and then get IN YOUR FACE if you were eating cheetos or cheese-its! He was a cheese fiend! Gracie goes CRAZY for cheese but can’t have it anymore with her megacolon. She is doing GREAT on her meds and acts like a kitten still! Have I ever told you how we acquired Gracie? She is a little miracle.
Free-Free has an obsession for roses. Whenever I bring roses in to arrange, he steals them and runs away and eats the petals. It must be some weird genetic trait because his mom (Tomasina) was the same way. She looked a lot like Dimitri James’ cat. Very beautiful. Free-Free has her smile and facial shape.
I love hearing about your kitties! Thank you for sharing. 😀 Have a good one today! Kitty hugs! 😀

@Sheba,
Good morning to you too! I hope Oz is still calm and sunny. 😀 We are expecting rain again so it looks like some of our boxes in garage will be coming indoors. Oh well, such is life I guess. It will all work out.
Yes, great news on the labs and I am extremely pleased! And yes, I will get the sugars down. Yep, I got this! 😀 I will let you know when the date gets closer for the angiogram/stent because I will definitely be requesting prayers from you and all the ladies. In the meantime it just makes me uneasy talking about it. I am trying to envision positive things but I am scared. My parents both went through this 3 times, and Faire, I think twice. It is getting to be routine but you know I don’t like these things… Enough said, I will let you know before it happens.
Hey, I love my yellow fruit dress! 😀 And I LOVE LOVE LOVE your words of wisdom today! Animals are amazing and I don’t think anyone here would argue that! Even what was said about insects is so true! Yesterday morning on my early walk I saw the most amazing architecture by ants! It reminded me of that mountain Richard Dreyfess kept making and drawing in that movie, Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Anyway, it was amazing!
Well, I hope you have a great day! 😀 I’ve got to get to work moving boxes out of the garage. I’m really looking forward to the work being done. Hugs to Poppy! 😀

Animals As Teachers
It’s natural to be drawn to the wisdom offered by animals, and in doing so, discovering what is true within you.
Since prehistoric times, animals have acted as companions to humans on their journey toward enlightenment. Animals as disparate in character as house pets, birds, sea creatures, and insects have been our mentors, teachers, and guides. There is much we can learn from animals as they offer us the unique opportunity to transcend the human perspective. Unlike human teachers, animals can only impart their wisdom by example or by feelings we get from them. An animal teacher can be a beloved pet or an animal in the wild. You may even find yourself noticing the animals in your backyard. Even robins and bumblebees have lessons to share with you.
Animals teach us in a variety of ways about behavior, habit, and instinct. Housepets embody an unconditional love that remains unchanged in the face of our shape, size, age, race, or gender. They care little for the differences between us and simply enjoy loving and being loved. Our pets encourage us to let our guards down, have fun, and take advantage of every opportunity to enjoy life. You can also learn lessons from the animals you encounter in the wild if you take the time to observe their habits. Cold-blooded animals show us adaptability and sensitivity to one’s environment. Mammals serve as examples of nurturing and playfulness. Animals that live in oceans, lakes, and rivers demonstrate the value of movement and grace. It is even possible to learn from insects that live in highly structured communities–everyone plays a vital role.
Animals teach us about life, death, survival, sacrifice, and responsibility. If you find yourself drawn to a particular animal, ask yourself which of its traits you find most intriguing and think about how you might mimic those traits. Think of what you might learn from observing the little bird on your windowsill or the mosquito buzzing around a picnic table. Animals express themselves with abandon, freedom, and integrity. It’s natural to be drawn to the wisdom offered by our animal teachers and in doing so discover what is natural and true within you.

Good Morning Cherie,
it will not be long before school is out for the kiddies. 🙂 Yes I am slowly getting back
to normal. My former neighbor made it there in three days he drove in a u-Haul and
had his car delivered by a car service. I am glad someone was there to help him
unload the truck he hired a company to do that. I have not been able to talk to him
because he is on the go and may be out of town again. So far with just one phone
call he likes it and he has lived in Cali before many years ago. I miss him. I miss our
talks.Cherie I am going to share some of my Air Fryer Recipes and things I have been doing
with the Air Fryer. ♥ I am sure LeChef/Captain has his delish recipes too. Cherie I already
brought my Andrew Lessman product but not with my coupon I got the TS. ♥ Phytoceramides with Biotin.Enjoy this day Cherie so far we have some sun in OZ. ♥

Kittengirl,
I did read your posts and first I want to say well done on your labs. What a relief and top
of the morning to you. Looks like you got this. Impressive numbers on the labs too.
I would just keep doing what you’re doing and you will be fine. The way you wrote your
posts seems like you have to watch your sugar intake I think you can handle that. 🙂Here’s to good health. Hugs to the kitties. ♥

Good Morning to you and Jerry. I think the little Bichon made it home safely.
I was so hoping I could catch him. LOL! Oz is much better today still the devastation
is all around this is not over. We have more rain coming in. I have to keep checking to
make sure the Sump Pump is not letting water in. This is something everyone was
advised to do.Hugs to little Ari from Poppy and me. Amy have you received your Heidi Daus yet?
I did not forget the name Golde I am planning something. 🙂 -
A little like a Cool Hand Luke type.
