Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

Hi Amy! How are you today? Staying cool? I’m trying. The AC works great! 😀
Were you able to read the post I left you a couple of days ago? Something funny happened when I was shopping during free shipping on Thursday and I thought of you. I hope you get a chance to read it.I’ve got chicken in my slow cooker for tomorrow’s dinner. I’m having a burrito tonight. And lots of water! Of course, I will have my mango smoothie later. Yummy! Hope your dinner kept your kitchen cool.
Have a great evening! Hugs to Ari! 😀

Sounds like we are twins! Oh my, I have read all that you do for the kitties, you are most definitely their angel.

How was your mother’s birthday outing? My dad had a great one.

I just signed back in can you see me. I am confused I think the system is wonky. Never mind Kitten
I think it’s my system. -
Yep, that’s Jake, a little older and a little fatter (like his mom, lol). Thank you for the beautiful picture. My husband and I plan our days according to the weather because he is very afraid of rain and storms and I can’t leave him alone. Last week we had a lot and he was so stressed. He was picked up as a stray, no collar, tags, etc., when we adopted him so have no idea why he is deathly afraid of storms – maybe he was left outside all his life. So I go through the same as you with Poppy. But I am willing to sacrifice so he can be happy and loved.

@Cherie,
Glad you enjoyed it! I know I sure enjoy them playing “ice hockey” Oh it was sooo funny! Free-Free and the others are getting much older now but I am sure the kittens will love to carry on the game! 😀
I love hearing your stories too! I love the pictures you always find to go with the stories. 😀
You have a great evening. Maybe you will have some kitty dreams tonight. Kitty hugs! 😀

Hi Sheba!
I’m so excited for the work to finally get done! I have wanted it for so long! The cat door has been in for a while but I don’t want the cats getting stuck up in the rafters if they should come inside. It is going to be so nice and clean out there now!
Yes, the AC will stay on until the temp drops. Will get down to 70 tonight. Tomorrow will be hot too and I think tonight is the last night it will be cooling down but it’s not until about 2 or 3 am. Wednesday is going to be 102. I am dreading July, August and September but hey, I should be used to it by now. Lol!
I really hope your storms aren’t severe. I know you are still cleaning up there and people have lost so much. Stay safe and dry!

Welcome! You are a woman after my own heart! I am forever wishing I had acres and acres of land so I could take in all the animals that need a home! We are getting very crowded here and need a bigger home but that is a few more years off.
All my kitties require a lot of time (some in declining health) so I don’t volunteer that often but I help out otherwise by sponsoring the rescue shelters that go in and rescue the cats and dogs ( mostly cats because they are the ones that get put down right away) from being euthanized. I wish I could take them all in but I only have so much room. There are so many fur babies that need a loving home. I’m always happy to meet other animal lovers and there are many on this thread for sure!
I have a special place for chocolate labs. My cousin used to have one named Nicholas and I loved him! He was a big silly gentle snuggler! 😀 I know you will have lots of things to share about your lab! 😀

Welcome! I love to hear about everyone’s fur babies! I have lots of kitties – some have been rescued and some born to those rescued, and others have “adopted” us. One is always honored to be adopted because cats are very picky! 😀 My heart and home are always welcome.
I love flowers too and have a lot of them in my yard. I have roses, iris, japanese iris, calla lillies, bird of paradise, gardenia, dusty miller, yarrow, blue salvia, snapdragons, alyssum, lobelia, lily of the nile, sage and geraniums. Oh yes, catnip and catmint too (of couse, lol)! I love bluebells but they don’t grow here.
My brother lives in Texas – Houston. He has lived there 15-20 years. Before that, Dallas. He loves Texas and he has a westie who is my “God-son”. He is so adorable. 😀

THAT IS YOUR GREAT PYRENEES SORRY ABOUT THAT. DOUBLE POST.

@shoelady60
Well, I lost my earlier post to you. So, I’ll try again. It’s always a pleasure to meet a fellow rescue mom. I did try the foster route. That is how I ended up with 3 Great Pyrenees dogs at one time. I loved my gentle giants. They have all passed on but never the memories. I now have 2 different breeds. There is something magical about rescues. They just seem to love on a higher level. Thank you for volunteering at your Humane Society. -
We will get some storms tonight. Nothing like last week. Good job on the Garage almost
there. I would keep that A/C on. -
Love this! I have in my faves. 😀

@Sheba,
Yes, it’s Garage Day! Yay! I’m so glad no more moving things for a few days. I pulled something near my collarbone and it hurts. We put everything on the back patio and also in the cars! LOL! An antique old radio mahogany cabinet went on the front porch along with the cat carriers, cat trap cage, some closet doors that will become my desktop out there, and my elliptical was moved to driveway. Those things are back in garage until tomorrow morning. Everything looks really good so far! 😀
The kitties are a little stressed over all the stuff in the back yard but it’s just temporary. Our hallway is full of boxes of books. The AC is on and it’s hot outside. I will take another walk late tonight. I really need to sell that giant albatross of an elliptical and get a treadmill that folds up. This time of year is impossible to walk in the evening. We have to walk very early in the morning.
Did you watch Carol Brodie? Love her TS in the rose quartz and several other things are in my faves, including that bib necklace that is offered in laboradite and moonstone. I want the moonstone.
How is the weather? I heard you might get some more storms tomorrow. I sure hope not! I hope you have a great evening! Hugs to Poppy! 😀
