Jake is a big sweetie, 8 years old, 100 lbs. and lays around all day unless there is a bird, squirrel, deer or neighbor in the yard. A few barks and he feels he did his duty. BTW, I did order the Bach Rescue Remedy. Will let you know how/if it works. I used to have German Short-haired Pointers and the one was basically in a coma his whole life – not a thing bothered him. Like your dachshund. Give Jewel a hug and kiss for being so good!

WOW! What a beautiful flower. I could look at this all day. I have a pretty good green thumb.
I am getting better I love planting. 🙂 I will show my flowers maybe later on next week. Flower you have
a good night too. I am going to start Club Sheba. Let me know what kind of music you like I cover pretty much
of everything. I also sing but not on a professional level anymore. I can still hold a pretty good note and Loaf sings too.

One famous model on HSN once said the only BS she wanted was Bags and Shoes. LOL!

Amy my mom makes the best Liver and Onions. 🙂 We grew up on a lot of Kosher Food
because my father worked near a Jewish Meat Market in the Chicago area. Best food ever!

I still eat that way I like Kosher Food. I am not saying Liver is Kosher just that we ate Beef
Liver. Yummy!

Hope you are having a more relaxing day than yesterday. I thought of you and Jake today after our loud thunderstorm. My Jewel girl surprised me and did so good. She went behind the recliner and laid down. That seemed to calm her. I didn’t have to give her any Rescue Remedy.
My little dachshund could care less if we have thunder and lightening. My sister’s next door neighbor has a beautiful chocolate lab named Snickers. He is just a big ole sweetie. Bet Jake is too. Have a good evening.

Weather was very nice today, a little humid, but I’ll take it. Took mom to the grocery store and to get her rose bush food. Since she’s 89, I did all her planting this year and told her I wasn’t bringing my shovel over for a 4th time but we still looked at every flower in the store.

I do have my eye on the Bali cuff with 18K domes. It’s on my favorites, along with many other items!!! I love all types of jewelry and have a lot of vintage pieces from Mom and MIL. They liked bling and had rhinestone everything and lots of Bakelite bangles. Those are so colorful. It’s fun to wear those cherished pieces and to remember those times when they wore them. Mom loved to wear a broach on her wool beret and on her suit for church.
We had a powerful thunderstorm this afternoon. Thankfully no hail. Right now, everything is so beautiful and green. My coral hibiscus plant bloomed today. So pretty.

I, too, am taking the day as it comes although we are going to the Club for dinner tonight. During the summer they have a Thursday menu which is a great. Easy and including the starter foods and dessert which for. me is a fruit cup. Guess what the most popular menu choice is which is also the only permanent choice.

It is….Liver and Onions. That is what our Jerry gets every time.

poppy and Ari would like that too.

I love the way you hike and the stories of what you see on the trails. I walk in the morning
and in the Moonlight I am always looking up and taking everything in. I sometime see
animals along the way but I don’t have the view you do in Cali. Enjoy the Beach route. 🙂

I hope you get the Heidi Daus Necklace I have over 400 pieces of Heidi Daus but I have
been doing this for over 13 years. It has taken a long time to acquire that much. Yes, I do

Family Planning
