Mmmm, such yummy fruit! I love all the summer fruit! Hubby and I call it “God’s candy”. I eat fruit every morning, summer or winter, with greek yogurt and a scrambled egg or some other source of protein so I get my 20 grams at each meal. Sometimes I have sliced tomatoes and incorporate broccoli into my egg so I get my veggies and less sugar. I love the way I eat now. I read that statins can raise your sugars so I am trying to be even more careful now. I drink lots of water too. Hopefully I will see the sugars go down with my next labs.

I love hearing all your kitty stories too and loved the cat with the birds. I love those pictures and stories of how animals nurture other orphaned babies! Remember the pitt bull with Bull? Can you believe he will be a year old on the 13Th? Amazing! He is definitely an alpha male and I am pretty sure that helped him survive!

This morning I was playing with all the kittens and will have stories to tell but I have to get back to work… Have a great day with your family! Kitty hugs! 😀

I hope you are having a great day and staying cool! It’s very warm here but will be very hot on M,T,W. 105-108. Yep, hot! I wish I had a pool to swim in like you have. I am taking my walks early in the morning, I get up at 5. Keep doing what you are doing and you will feel great soon! 😀

I got my dazzling delight necklace in the green and it’s really pretty! Can’t wait for fall to wear it! I don’t wear much jewelry when it gets hot here. Usually just earrings and a ring or two. Oh, I ALWAYS wear my toe ring. It’s 14k yellow gold with a dangling puffed heart. Everyone loves it and it is very sentimental to me. Do you wear much jewelry when it’s hot?

Hope Jerry and Ari are both doing well. Take it easy and stay cool! 😀

So…we just got home and will leave soon for sushi and Canasta. We were paying our respects to a wife whose 75 year old husband took his own life only a few days ago. I have been to many wakes, shivas, funeral services and so on but never to one involving a suicide. This was not a cry for help….it was a suicide. Just awful.

I cannot wait to go to climb into bed later tonight.

Good Afternoon Sheba!

I’m taking a lunch break. Today we are sealing the floor in the garage and hopefully setting my work table/desk up. It is going to be a little tall so I will need a stool. I think tomorrow we will be buying some new cabinets from Lowe’s and some peg board to hang the lawn tools and brooms, some hooks for the ladders and the wheel barrow. I want a retractable clothes line too so sheets can dry out there in 10 minutes in the summer! Yay! Have to also hang a bike form the ceiling. I can’t wait for it to all be done. Oh, the garage is SO CLEAN! I hate moving stuff back in. I think I am going to go through it all some more and get rid of some more things. Once the kitchen is done I won’t need to store all of that stuff in there.

Thanks for the yummy fruit! I eat a lot of fruit. Who needs sugary foods when you have fresh fruit? 😀 I am enjoying the cooler temps today. I”m not sure it’s exactly “cool” but at least it’s not 105! That’s tomorrow! 107 on Monday and 108 on Tuesday! This is only early June. My next house I want a pool. It is too hot here to not have a pool!

What are you up to today? How are your hubby and son? I had a great LONG walk yesterday and a normal walk early this morning. It was beautiful out with a slight breeze. Plan to go for another one tonight. I spent my morning playing with the kitties which always makes me laugh! And you know how laughter is the BEST medicine! Have a great day and hugs to Poppy! 😀
