Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

“How Deep Is Your Love”I know your eyes in the morning sun
I feel you touch me in the pouring rain
And the moment that you wander far from me
I wanna feel you in my arms againAnd you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love then you softly leave
And it’s me you need to show
How deep is your loveHow deep is your love,
How deep is your love
I really mean to learn
‘Cause we’re living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and meI believe in you
You know the door to my very soul
You’re the light in my deepest darkest hour
You’re my saviour when I fall
And you may not think
I care for you
When you know down inside
That I really do
And it’s me you need to show
How deep is your loveHow deep is your love,
How deep is your love
I really mean to learn
‘Cause we’re living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and meAnd you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love then you softly leave
And it’s me you need to show
How deep is your loveHow deep is your love,
How deep is your love
I really mean to learn

“More Than A Woman”Oh, girl I’ve known you very well
I’ve seen you growing everyday
I never really looked before
But now you take my breath awaySuddenly you’re in my life
Part of everything I do
You got me working day and night
Just trying to keep a hold on youHere in your arms I found my paradise
My only chance for happiness
And if I lose you now I think I would dieOh say you’ll always be my baby
We can make it shine, we can take forever
Just a minute at a timeMore than a woman, more than a woman to me
More than a woman, more than a woman to me
More than a woman, oh, oh, oh.There are stories old and true
Of people so in love like you and me
And I can see myself
Let history repeat itselfReflecting how I feel for you
Thinking about those people then
I know that in a thousand years
I’d fall in love with you againThis is the only way that we should fly
This is the only way to go
And if I lose your love I know I would dieOh say you’ll always be my baby
We can make it shine, we can take forever
Just a minute at a timeMore than a woman, more than a woman to me
More than a woman, more than a woman to me
More than a woman, oh, oh, oh -

“I Just Want To Be Your Everything”For so long
You and me been finding each other for so long
And the feeling that I feel for you is more than strong, girl
Take it from me
If you give a little more than you’re asking for
Your love will turn the keyDarling, mine
I would wait forever for those lips of wine
Build my world around you, darling
This love will shine, girl
Watch it and see
If you give a little more than you’re asking for
Your love will turn the keyI, I just want to be your everything
Open up the Heaven in your heart and let me be
The things you are to me
And not some puppet on a stringOh, if I, if I stay here without you, darling, I will die
I want you laying in the love I have to bring
I’d do anything
To be your everythingDarling, for so long
You and me been finding each other for so long
And the feeling that I feel for you is more then strong, girl
Take it from me
If you give a little more than you’re asking for
Your love will turn the keyI, I just want to be your everything
Open up the heaven in your heart and let me be
The things you are to me
And not some puppet on a stringOh, if I, if I stay here without you, darling, I will die
I want you laying in the love I have to bring
I’d do anything
To be your everythingI, I just want to be your everything

Hi Amy!
I’m very sorry to hear of your friend’s husband. My heart goes out to her. Suicide is such a tragic and desperate thing and leaves those behind in a very confused, isolated and devastated place. Thank you for being there for her. Even if you don’t know what to say (most people don’t), your presence means more to her than she can possibly convey.
It has happened twice in my family and it is devastating, leaves you shocked and numb. My cousin went to Viet Nam when he was about 18 and never returned whole and battled with his memories ever since. He lost his mom (my aunt) to cancer and his dad (my uncle (my mom’s brother)) about 6 months later to a heart attack. Then his wife left him. It was just all too much. He went to his parents graves and ended his suffering. Such a loss.
A couple of years ago I lost my ex BIL. He did cry out but he just couldn’t get out from under the depression he had slipped into. He was always a jovial, kind man and great father. He appeared to have everything. He talked to my sister frequently in the months prior to his suicide and was in therapy for his depression. My sister and nephew were just shattered.
People have a tendency to stay away because they don’t know what to say. Even the families are quiet because they want to protect the memories and the person they knew and loved. I am so glad you went to the funeral and showed your support for your friend. She will need you, even if she doesn’t say so. I will have her in my prayers.Keep up the good work with the peloton and the swimming. Good for you to keep a record of what you eat. I keep a notebook and write down my meals, the amount of protein and carbs and fats. I don’t count calories or sugars because as long as my protein and carbs are right I am eating healthy (within reason). It keeps me on the right track and it’s a helpful tool for my dietician or Dr. My goal is to be healthy and to have as full and long a life as possible. I know I have other grand-kids in the future and I want to be here to enjoy them! 😀 Besides, there is so much life to live! 😀
I hope you have a great day with Jerry and Ari! Hugs! 😀

Good day to you Sheba!
Thank you for the cooling ocean breezes! I am taking my lunch break right now and then I will finish up a few more things and call it a day for the garage. Got the table/desk set up in its spot and placed a shelving unit next to it where I will put a stereo and art supplies. My “desk” is a closet door we saved from the renovations to use as a desk someday in my studio. The other doors were donated to Habitiat for Humanity. Right now it is supported by boxes of books that are packed up from the family room/kitchen and will go back in there after that renovation is done. I am going to have a friend make legs for the door and then I will be painting the whole thing. I’m very excited to have this space to work in.
How is your weekend going? I hope you are relaxing with your hubby and son, Poppy too, of course! 😀 I am hoping your Dad and sister are feeling ok, at least comfortable. How is your mom?
I loved the Rod Stuart songs and pictures the other day. I meant to tell you but my post was already long. Rod Stuart was a huge influence on my style in my very early days. I don’t think I have ever mentioned I used to write songs. Life kept me busy though and I always intended to get back to it. I had 3 record companies that were interested in me but my babies were my priority and I was too young and not suited for the cut-throat aspect of the business. I’m a pretty private person when it comes to my work. Anyway, Rod Stuart brought back a flood of memories and I got to be “forever young” for a moment! 😀
Do you have any plans to go anywhere to relax and get away this summer? Not me but my son is visiting soon and I’m very excited about it. 😀
Have a great day and get some time in just for yourself! Hugs! 😀
@Cherie, No worries! I know how time goes some days… Enjoy your family! Kitty hugs! 😀
@taci, I envy your beach walks! Enjoy them and savor every moment! 😀
@bichon18, I will post at your space.
Shout outs @loaf, @shoelady60, @71flowerchild, @southernlights55! Hope you are all doing well! 😀

Hi Sheba;
Raining and thunder right now I Wellington. We are taking Ari to the fifth birthday today of Max and Louie who are Maltese/Poodles who are Groomed to look like Schnauzers. Their daddies live on the Intracoastal but the celebration will move indoors. We are bringing Ari and will give him anti anxiety so he can relax and WE can relax. We had a Basket made at Jakes Pet Supply with all kinds of toys. Very cute.
Rode the Peleton. I love that thing. Following the class; I did a ten-minute upper body toning session with weights. The weights are two pounds each. Little by little. Would love it if you had one. I think I am listed as MangoAmy. I can compare what others are doing. I really need to see what women in my age group do.
Okay, Heidi on tomorrow. Let us see. Let us see
Enjoy your Sunday. My best to Poppy and Cool Hand.
Amy.

It comes easy for me I have done this for 5 years on this Thread. 🙂 Actually when
the HSN Community was different about 20 years ago I was doing this. No pics back
then but I did do the lyrics. 🙂It only takes about an hour and that’s because I make up everything as I go along no matter
what I post I never plan anything it’s whatever pops up in my mind. LOL!i don’t do Club Sheba every night but most nights I do and I will certainly cover songs
you enjoy. Loaf has been a great help with songs Loaf has been with me all 5 years.Let me know what else you like. 🙂 Thank you and I am so glad you liked the pics and selections.

One Day At A Time
Taking one step at a time makes life much easier to navigate, rather than always looking at the big picture.
The years of our life do not arrive all at once; they greet us day by day. With the descent of each setting sun, we are able to rest our heads and let the world take care of itself for a while. We may rest assured throughout the night, knowing that the dawn will bring with it a chance to meet our lives anew, donning fresh perspectives and dream-inspired hopes. The hours that follow, before we return to sleep once more, are for us to decide how we want to live and learn, laugh and grow. Our lives are sweeter and more manageable because we must experience them this way: one day at a time.
Imagine the future stretching out before you and try to notice if you feel any tension or overwhelm at the prospect of the journey still to come. Perhaps you have recently made a lifestyle change, like beginning a new diet or quitting smoking, and the idea of continuing this healthy new behavior for years seems daunting. Maybe you have started a new job or are newly married and can feel an undercurrent of anxiety about your ability to succeed. If you can shift your focus from what may happen years down the line and return it to the day that is before you right now, you may find a measure of calm and renewed confidence in your capabilities. You may also discover an inner faith that the future will take care of itself.
The way we show up for our lives today and tomorrow has an enormous affect on who we will be and what we will be experiencing years from now. If we can remain fully engaged in the day at hand, enjoying all it has to offer and putting our energy into making the most of it, we will find that we are perfectly ready and capable to handle any future when it arrives.
