The Kuhn Cinema in Lebanon, Oregon is a relic of movie houses gone by—ornate and without the trappings of a generic multiplex. But preserving that kind of legacy isn’t without some risk: Legend has it that a theatergoer once plummeted from a second-floor balcony to her death. Now, her image can be allegedly be seen flickering on the screen, shocking patrons into spilling their sodas.

Decades ago, when the owner of what’s now the Skirvin Hilton Hotel in Oklahoma City discovered that he had impregnated a housekeeper, he responded by locking the maid in one of the rooms. She was to stay there even after she had the baby. However, the despairing housekeeper had other plans and threw herself and the baby out the window. Nowadays, her spirit tends to get a lot of press for terrorizing NBA players. Opponents of the Oklahoma City Thunder typically stay at the century-old hotel, and athletes have reported hearing a baby’s cry in their rooms and knocks at their doors. They’ve also seen drawers open and doors close without reason. The New York Knicks once blamed a loss on a restless night caused by the prank-playing spirit. “She is an apparitional sixth man, of sorts,” The New York Times reported.

Good morning lovely people! Thanks for the apple cider Sheba (I just love it) and the great pictures and ghost stories!

Deep Strength really touched me. I have been under the ice many times in my life and from the marrow of my bones and the grace of God I broke through. We are stronger and more resilient than we will ever know.

Hi Sheba Dear! Cherie is so Jelly you all are able to turn on the Furnace! We’re having a heat wave here. Getting back up to the mid 90’s! Still loving your Spooky stories. I’ve been reading them to the family aloud just before bed. So the kids and I Scurry to our beds and make Sure DAD is the LAST one to bed, He gets to turn OFF the lights, Haahaha!! Love that ” Finding Deep Strength ” … Again Cherie is strange in that during tough times .. I write it All down in my “Dream Book” under the ” Reality Section”. When I’m done, I place it on my night stand and say ” OK Lord .. how are YOU going to get Cherie out of this fine Mess now? ” and go to Sleep. When I wake up, I do Something I Love to do, Shopping, Going to lunch with a Friend, or my Favorite … DANCE! My MOM likes to play ” Dance With Me ” by Peter Brown. Come On Sheba .. Cherie remembers the top 3 medications I posted that can cause itchy skin …. Since your not on any of them on a regular basis and the itching is in only one area …. You are so right that taking extra care is the Best way to go. Yes, the P medication can have a lot of side-effects but for some conditions the benefits out weigh the risks. Cherie is Sooo HAPPY the exam went alright, You don’t have to take any P medicine, and You’re going to be fine …. That’s Awesome news …♥
