Another Fabulous Halloween! Hi Sheba …. Hubby & I decked out the front yard …. for us it’s easy, 5 HUGE inflatables and a ton of lights. The KIDS LOVE it … it’s so cute to watch them through our security cameras taking selfies with all the inflatables. I have to tell ya Cherie had 4X as many kids this year! We got thin on candy so we paired them up with some of our kids toys and granola bars for the kiddies. We gave MY ICE CREAM FUDGE BARS to the Older kids and Adults. For the TEEN girls they giggled with glee when I had BINS of makeup, hair products, and purses they could choose instead of candy !! Just when we were running out of ALL that, I had a STACK of $1 dollar bills waiting for any stragglers!! We have so much fun …. Can’t Wait till next year! Again thank you for the spooky stories ….. Kids are so looking forward to the Velveteen Story tomorrow night. Night-nite Sheba♥ …. Night ALL!

In February 1858, a steamboat named Eliza Battle set out on a cruise down the Tombigbee River, carrying 60 passengers and more than 1200 bales of cotton from Columbus, Mississippi, down to Mobile, Alabama. But on March 1, an unseasonably cold night, the cotton caught fire and quickly engulfed the ship in flames. It was the greatest nautical disaster in the river’s history, leaving 33 passengers and crew dead. On brisk and chilly nights, people sometimes see the burning Eliza Battle rising from the misty waters where it sank, trying to complete its journey to Mobile.
