Welcome to conversation – 15. This is number 15 of this thread.
We are in TAY. This Thread is three years old.
I hope you enjoy this as it covers music, fashion and most of all
Heidi Daus. I am an Avid Collector. ♥ my focus is fashion being a former
fashion model. As a singer I cover lots of old school music and popular and
show tunes. Movies are a must. We talk about a lot of things in Conversation.
Please remember this is TAY! I am still learning the new system so bear with me.
Blessings to you all. ♥ Happy Holidays ♥

@sheba2011,
Good evening Sheba. Hope you had a nice Saturday.
We survived day 2 of summer🌞🌞. Stayed in mostly, although we grilled fish, veggies and peppers outside. Somehow I believe we were the ones who were grilled!! We enjoyed the meal so it was worth it. Im making my list of things to take for our trip and what we need to do here before we go. I plan and hubby executes. 😀
Jewel and Little D both get baths and their nails done before we go. They have their own little suitcase that gets packed with their special things.
Thank you for all the Club Sheba evenings you send our way. ❤️
Have a beautiful Sunday. -
@Sheba 2011, I’m loving the floral print shoes!!

Sheba;
Hello from South Florida. Run do not walk to see Rocket Amanda. It is the very best. We laughed, we cried. We enjoyed every minute of it.
Very hot here today. Verrrryyy hot. No rain so no cooling off. Even Ari sat down during his 3:00 walk. I said no more walk till sundown.
My best to your family. Ari if facetiming with Poppy.

Good evening from the Burgh. Another luscious day here. Hope you are enjoying your Saturday in Oz. Ran Mom around yesterday and I know this sounds kind of morbid but we went to the cemetery to take care of ordering the stone for my stepdad and she ended up paying for her whole funeral. She said it’s one thing me and my sister won’t have to worry about. When my dad died suddenly in the 70’s, she had a lot of decisions to make quickly and she wanted peace of mind for her girls. Love her!!!
I hope your dad and sister are resting comfortably. They are in my prayers. Hubby golfs tomorrow so it will be a crock pot dinner for whenever he gets home and I will relax with Jake outside – read the paper, maybe a magazine and a glass of wine. Hugs to you and Poppy.

Emily Shanahan first noticed her 3-year-old bulldog named Mortimer getting nauseated before meals in April.
Mortimer’s veterinarian, Dr. Doug Brum at MSPCA-Angell Medical Center, prescribed medicine to minimize the problem.
But by June, Mortimer’s condition grew worse, according to a statement from MSPCA-Angell. Mortimer had stopped following Shanahan around the house, and he was often found napping away from his family.
One evening, he began shaking his head while eating, and he did not finish his meal.
Shanahan brought Mortimer back to Angell the next day, where X-rays revealed that Mortimer had nabbed 19 pacifiers from Shanahan’s children.
“I was shocked because even though I have two small children at home, I’d never imagined he was eating their pacifiers,” Shanahan said in the statement.
Dr. Erika De Papp on June 7 performed an endoscopy, a nonsurgical procedure used to examine and remove items from an animal’s digestive tract, the statement said.
“It’s likely that Mortimer started nabbing these pacifiers in April, perhaps one at a time, and that started a cycle of nausea and vomiting, which are symptoms that can be caused by so many other health issues,” Brum said. “If not for the urgency with which his family pursued veterinary care, things would have gotten much worse for him.”
Mortimer is now resting with his family in their Wellesley home and is already back to his normal self, according to the statement.
“We absolutely love this dog and would do anything for him — and I’m relieved that this was a problem that could be solved, as opposed to a chronic illness that would cause him long-term suffering,” Shanahan said.
Dear Lord is all I can say. So glad he will be better.
