When he senses rain, he grabs the first thing he sees, could be a shoe, pillow, magazine, etc. If I’m not home, he will tear it up. He pulled apart a fake flower arrangement I made and it was all over the living room floor. When me or my husband are home, he will grab whatever and hold it in his mouth. I guess that makes him feel better from the stress, although it takes hours sometimes before he is back to normal. It’s like a Jekyll and Hyde situation because he is an angel any other time. I have tried everything except tranquilizers. Used them once on another dog and was not happy with how the dog acted. Me and my husband do shifts if there is rain predicted.

Hi Sheba – hubby is home, all is fine.

My niece won her division today in the drive, chip and putt contest and goes to the third round in Michigan in October. If she does well there, she gets to go to Augusta National where they play the Masters tournament. Her younger sister missed advancing by 2 points.

Bless you for adopting Poppy. There are so many rescue animals that are filled with love to give to someone who will love them back.

Getting your worries about Cherie. Do you know any way to get in touch with her? No need to tell us but are there any clues you can employ. 90210 is kinda big. mIL leaves in La Jolla. Mother in 90210 or near. There is very little else. I hope her mom has a way of just letting you know.

As she battles cancer for the third time, Olivia Newton-John is not focusing on how much time she may have left.

The 70-year-old singer and actress sat down with “60 Minutes Australia” to talk about living with stage 4 breast cancer.

“When you’re given a cancer diagnosis or a scary honest diagnosis, you’re suddenly given a possibility of a time limit,” she said.

Hi Sheba! This will be short since I have a killer headache. Just wanted to check in and say hi… so “HI”. 😀 About the birthday… we have another thing in common; yours is the day Marilyn left us and mine is the day Elvis left us! Both of us born on days when such talented people left us. I was young at the time but I remember the day well. I had a thing for “oldies” even back then and used to listen to his music a lot. I hope you enjoyed your movie the other night. I love those old movies too. They don’t make them like that anymore. Special effects may have improved but that’s about it. I read that Laramie was cancelled way back then because it was so violent! HA! Look at the junk in movies and tv today! What a different world we live in.
I bought the rust color duster from G, the leopard one was sold out by the time I tried to get it. I passed on the blouse. Still considering the navy/gold houndstooth jacket but I’m not sure I want to put a bunch of stuff back in my closet when I worked so hard to clean it out!

Hello Sheba and Happy Sunday
Another repeat of yesterday’s hot temp and heat index 🥵🥵.
As I get older, I just can’t tolerate this as I used to. I’m with you, looking forward to Fall and some milder temps.
Finished today’s workout. Will hit the shower and put on a comfy caftan. Then settle on the couch and read. Jewel and Little D love reading time because they get to go into Mommy’s special room that is usually closed.
As I type this post, I’m being stared at!! It’s dinner time for J and LD. They are sitting in front of me to let me know it’s time.
So spoiled but I love them 😍.
Ordered a Hillary Scott burnout velvet kimono yesterday. You featured this a while back. Will let you know what I think. It should be good for our Fall weather.
We are doing what we need to stay cool, especially drinking lots of water.
