Did zero today except made dinner and puppy sat for Chloe while her mommy had procedure. Chloe will stay overnight. So, I had Ari walks and Chloe walks.

I hope your sister is home resting. It is exhausting after surgery. It feels like major jet lag with discomfort.

I am now mixing my Marine Collagen with my morning yogurt. I stir in it. It disappears. Breakfast before exercise to keep the sugar okay.

Amy I saw the thread where three HSN Hosts are leaving. I will miss all of them.
I hope the Community can stay together. I wrote about this to Cherie this morning and
I turn on the computer and there it is I don’t know what it means.

Sister is doing alright she is eating and the new meds are working. I feel a lot better.

I will never learn about buying certain items on line. After the dresses, I promised myself never to buy any clothes without trying them on. It’s a gamble how things will fit and cost so much to return. Anyways I bought the black, true to size and hope for the best. It will be time to visit my Mother in AZ soon and it’s hot this time of year so the light pants would be awesome.

Is your son happy about graduating? Is he going to look for a job in his field, or maybe continue with school?

My son seems ok with his job since it pays more and is a bit easier than what he was doing before. Same type of job in a different company. He has been learning to cook for himself but I will be happy when he learns to clean it up!

Good Evening yes son is very excited to graduate from College and I am more excited
because I am tired of paying LOL! I have the same problem our sons do not clean up
well. Trust mine will learn and quick. I am not the maid and until he gets a nice paying
job he will clean for himself. Our son will start job hunting this fall.

I am just relieved that my sister is not in pain. God is good. 🙂 Oh Taci I brought and

Thank you for your prayers again. My sister went home this morning. All we can say is
so far so good now the real pain will start it’s known as healing.

Cherie I would have made a new thread had it not been for us losing Mcpoopoo.
I just did not have the heart to start over but I will make a new one after this month.

I am going to let people know how to post on this thread. I can remember when
there were dozens of threads where people could just drop in anywhere and write.
I don’t know what happened to those thread my Thread is my Diary and from the start
I planned it that way. I work hours on it and to have people post anywhere messes up the
way I want it to look. I know people think I am picky. LOL!

I know it is public but I created it and I have kept it for 5 years. 🙂
This is my baby and sorry but I don’t think it is fair to just mess things up after all these years.
Cherie my real fear is the Community will close that is what I am worried about and one of
the main reason I have not changed the thread.

I don’t want to lose all the friendship it has taken me years to get. Yeah that matters too.
Cherie you have been here on this thread a while thank you for how you post. I have never
had a problem with the way you post one or two or three is fine because you send a
message in your post. 🙂 Nothing is wrong with a shout out. One day I will show you the
picture that got me that you posted here. I almost could not believe it and I never said
another word. I know I am writing too much which I hate to do. I guess it’s nerves but
I will be very up front about how I want things to look. I will tell you another secret why
that is important another day.

Sitting With Feelings

Taking the time to sit with your feelings to acknowledge them, will save you much distress down the road.

It can take great courage to really sit with our feelings, allowing ourselves to surrender to their powerful energies. All too often we set our feelings aside, thinking we will deal with them later. If we don’t deal with them, we end up storing them in our minds and bodies and this is when anxiety and other health issues can arise. Denying what our bodies want to feel can lead to trouble now or down the line, which is why being in the thick of our feelings, no matter how scary it seems, is really the best thing we can do for ourselves.

One of the reasons we tend to hide or push aside our feelings is that we live in a culture that has not traditionally supported emotional awareness. However, as the connection between mind and body–our emotions and our physical health– becomes clearer, awareness of the importance of feeling our feelings has grown. There are many books, classes, workshops and retreats that can help us on our way to emotional intelligence. We can also trust in our own ability to process what comes up when it comes up. If sadness arises, we can notice its presence and welcome it, noting where in our bodies we feel it, and allowing ourselves to express it through tears or a quiet turning inward.

When we simply allow ourselves to fully feel our feelings as they come, we tend to let them go easily. This is all we are required to do; our feelings simply want to be felt. We often complicate the situation by applying mental energy in the form of analysis, when all we really need is to allow, as the earth allows the rain to fall upon it. As the rain falls, the earth responds in a multitude of ways, sometimes emptying out to form a great canyon, sometimes soaking it up to nourish an infinitude of plants. In the same way, the deeper purpose of our feelings is to transform the terrain of our inner world, sometimes creating space for more feelings to flow, sometimes providing sustenance for growth. All we need to do is allow the process by relaxing, opening, and receiving the bounty of our emotions.

How are you? How is your sister today. I was doing a lot of googling last night. Only good thoughts are coming your way from our house to yours.

I looked up the Heidi date. It says July. Another one before? Help help help. I like the Nina Leonard Sleeveless Ruffle Tunics I got. They are fine for the summer. It is hot down here. I do not expect summer tops to stand the test of time.

Now, Amy is learning how to shop Heidi. When there is a TS necklace I will go for the suite. This way, I am set. However, if there is an item under $125.00 dollars, I may wait. Why? Twenty-percent coupons max out at $25.00. Therefore, my thought is not to stray too far from the window of opportunity. Insane!

Ari is playing with Froggie the plush toy. He is a cute guy.

The shoes – Lady Gaga has probably walked the red carpet and climbed onto the stage in those. What a gal! Not Shoelady. I am short and for most of my life I lived in heels. But running around a department store for 8 hours changed that. Now I only wear heels for dress up and when my pants are too long and I’m too lazy to hem them.

I truly hope there is good news on your sister. All positive thoughts are being channeled to her and you. I am leaving tomorrow morning, it will be a long day and weekend. Happy Father’s Day to your dad and husband. Hugs to you and Poppy.

Kitten we do not have any info on my sister future treatments yet. It’s only been 24 hours
and she is still in the hospital. I am just glad the surgery is over the treatment is not.

I am glad your sister’s surgery is behind her and I hope she is getting rest and is feeling as comfortable as she can. I didn’t mean to intrude, I only asked because my sister has been through this too. You will know when you know and you can talk about it if you want to, and if you do, I am here.
I’m pretty tired today but managing to get some organizing done around here. Hey, did you know today is Bull’s first birthday? Yay! What a little miracle that guy is! 😀 Today is also my son’s fiance’s birthday. 😀 He made her a cake (from scratch) and is cooking dinner for her tonight.
