@sheba, I’m watching the Grammy’s with you while reading through your thread.

So sorry to read of yet another passing in your family.
I have no words to let you know how sad I am for you, your Dad and family’s loss.

I know this will sound a bit harsh. Please take it as my soul feeling what you will not yet allow to enter your mind. The totally of the present. it’s alright to scream, it’s alright to lash out irrationally, it’s alright to cry until you cannot see your hand in front of you. These are emotions we feel most often. A form of helplessness where nothing we say or do will turn back the hands of time and make it like like we wish to remember them. Those memories will be precious to us forever and a day. You don’t have to be the strongest rock on the pile.. Remember Peter was a weak man and God built his ministry on him. He called him his rock. My sister in Christ you don’t have to be strong, you just have to let God take charge.
It’s alright Sheba. Allow yourself to be the person you are feeling, right now at this moment. Grief is the most important part of healing a loss that will never be forgotten yet can never be replaced. When we grieve it is for what we have lost knowing there will only be memories. Think of all the good that was shared in life.. Don’t let grief destroy the happiness that was shared while life gave you the happiness of their presence. God Is Love.<3, <3, <3 Your are forever in my prayers..

You figured it out too. Well Christmas and now. Come what may I will be fine.
I am just keeping calm and make sure my father is alright. It’s just a matter of
time with him. Long story I shall share it with you one night. I am not trying to be
vague just want you to know what is going on. My father reads these threads some
days. Father knows how much I love music, dance and fashion too. Father finds this
amusing. LOL! Cherie I am going to keep doing what I always do with this thread.
If I stop I don’t think I will ever be the same no worries you know I am strong. 🙂
I just know my family is hurting right now.

This is what I meant by when I said I wish I could see you. My aunt lived in your city for decades then moved back to
Tennessee. I don’t how I feel right now but I will be fine. 🙂

My son in law can tell you about napalm. It will also have detrimental affects on unborn children. He was in the Vietnam war. He will be scarred mentally and physically for the rest of his life, in more ways than most people could ever imagine. My heart goes out to my daughter and their children (although they are now adults). My grandchildren have had to learn how to cope with a very different way of life and and living that life with a father that is always at war. in a world where his war alhought it’s over, never reallly ends. My grandson is a Dr now. God give him strength. My daughter is a woman I deeply admire. She kept thing together, for her husband and sons even when her own health was falling apart. I pray and thank God for her every day. Her body has been weakened from the stress and she too (like me) has a heart condition. Through it all we are a family with so many blessing we cannot begin to count them.

Oh my god how did you know? Dear god what a weekend. I am celebrating my daughter’s
birthday this weekend and then I get a call late in the night. I awake from a deep sleep
I knew it would not be good.

My Aunt passed she was my father’s sister. My dad is the youngest in his family she was
the eldest. It happened suddenly. All her children was with her in Tennessee when it happened.

I am devastated I had to drive to my father’s house and let him know which was hard because
he is sick. I have never seen my father get emotional in my entire life. We held each other so
tight. I had to have the nurse check his blood pressure my step-mother is in Florida at their
Condo. The woman took it hard because she was close to my Aunt. Then my mom took it
better then I expect. I will forge on but my cousins are a mess. I am calming everyone down.

My aunt held this side of my family together. I love her and she will be missed she was a
dignified women and a god-fearing one too. Heaven needed another angel and they have
one. It’s so hard to talk about it. You summed everything up perfect in your post.

Thank you for that. I have not been able to talk much. It’s the Circle of Life. I understand it.
But it still hurts. My aunt lived well and treated everyone with respect. Just another part
of my life I will miss. As you said Angel this too shall pass. Thank you for being here.
Your post had me in tears and I don’t cry much.
