Walk up in middle of night to see a 7.1 came through lasting longer than the very first. Thinking of all of you from the land of Hurricanes from which you are certain at least three days before.

Cherie; glad you were able to leave the children in La Jolla. Yes, go straight to your mom. She must be a wreck of nerves right now. Vacations come and go and then, G_d willing the holidays come back again. All eyes are on Cali. We are thinking of you all.

I wonder if the house pets tell you five minutes before things occur with their acute senses. Now, I see why gas is shut off.

How are the children with this tumult figuratively and literally?

Ahhhh Sheba …. 1st These Earthquakes are making me a “Dizzy” scatter-brain! I’m missing Special events and there are sooo many this month in the Community … Please forgive Cherie. Yes, Yes another Quake … This one we felt way …. down in Sunny La Jolla San Diego!! We checked our home cameras chandelier really moving and still nothing “looks” damaged. Cherie and Captain HAD TO COME HOME … Kids with MIL. Some things knocked over outside, nothing expensive broken cause Cherie “glues” everything down. House and pool intact … Thank God. We will leave in the morning to save Grandma …. My MOM is pretty shook up. Waving Lots of Birthday Wishes & LOVE to You & Your Family celebrating in July. I’m Forgetting a lot but Cherie has Gotta go My Dear Sheba♥ …. Shout out @loaf and to ALL!!

Wow! Did you feel that one just a bit ago? That was very strong… and long! Everything was moving here – doors, clock, crystals on my lamps. I went to the doorway and held on and braced for it to get worse because it was lasting so long. It was 7.1 and quite unnerving! We are going to go check on daughter’s kitties since she is in Carmel. I hate to leave my babies…

The ground has not stopped shaking! We just had another strong one and it lasted too long for my comfort! Everything was moving! I do not do earthquakes well! Have a good night! Hope Cherie and Taci are fine. It was even stronger, a 7.1!

Oh, my, true words spoken. 4th was fine, mom had one glass of wine and was ready to go to sleep right after dinner. Between rain and fireworks, Jake was not a happy camper all day and night.
