Crazy hot day. Ran to mom’s to help clean her house since her cousin is coming tomorrow to take her to lunch. Mom is 89 and she has 2 cousins left in her family, that’s it. She has outlived all brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, etc. Had to go buy her more flowers since she didn’t water enough and they died. Very tired when I got home after 5 hours of that so ate junk instead of cooking. Then my kitchen TV died so hubby ran and got me another one since I can’t survive without it. Took over an hour to get the darn thing working. Nothing is easy anymore……..

Really tired, hitting the hay, see you tomorrow. Jake sends hugs to Poppy, he thinks the 4th is finally over on the 8th!!

School is out and it’s a sort of a buzz

Good afternoon to Sheba and all the Ladies.
We safely arrived Sunday evening, tired but happy to be here. After unloading and feeding the babies, hubby and I enjoyed a glass of wine 🍷 on the deck. We relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the evening.
We all enjoyed the cool breezy walk this morning. J and LD also had fun meeting new friends at the dog park.🐶🐶
Taking it slow today to get used to the altitude. Just cleaned deck, tables and set out chair cushions. Fed hummingbirds too.
Great read and good advice about relaxing at home.
Jewel and Little D are sending cool evening hugs to Poppy. So peaceful here last night, no fireworks. Jewel was so happy.
