Clean Boss
Why is Michelle saying that reviews are amazing and it’s award winning, when the reviews say just the opposite? Also, they’re saying they only have a couple thousand in single purchase and a couple thousand in auto-ship but the counter in currently at 4641 and still counting? Why is it rated almost perfect 5 star on Clean Boss website but not HSN?
S.H.A.D.Y.
I just purchased but thinking of canceling because of the major contradictions.

I love my huggable hangers, but I don’t trust Joy anymore. This seems like a relaunch of her cleaning product from a few years ago and that was horrible! The smell was disgusting and was extremely hard to breath in. It really caused an uproar and then she disappeared for a few years. There are plenty of other natural and “green” products out there. No more Joy for me.

You’re right and I know better about her. I remember the uproar about this product but was going to try it anyway. I just canceled. Such a discrepancy with the reviews when comparing Clean Boss website and HSN.

Hi @skingirl13! I hope all has been well. I looked at the reviews and it seems to be split either you like it or you don’t.
I’ve spent years developing coatings that contain antimicrobial features and can honestly say as a chemist I would trust thymol over the other actives in use. Also, a lot of remediation companies are using thymol based antimicrobials lately.
As for the scent, grab the thyme from your spice drawer open the jar and take a deep breath. This is the scent of the cleaner. I guess doing a lot of creole cooking the scent doesn’t bother me like it does for most people.
Whatever you chose to do, I hope you have a happy 2022!! 😊-
Hi @angiep so nice to see you.
Well that’s what I was thinking…I cook would thyme and rosemary and tend to like the smell but Michelle with her lies, the contradictions in reviews and knowing how Joy sells like an infomercial queen, turned me off.
I’m gonna clear my mind for s second and think about it.
I was putting it on my HSN card so if I don’t like it, I could at least have free returns.
Anyway, nice talking to you. All the best to you and yours. 😊

@skingirl13, just an FYI. Pure essential oil is basically a concentrated essence of a botanical and the scent is much stronger than the flower or leaf, whereas the dried leaves have an even lesser scent. So the scent of Clean Boss is a strong thyme scent. Take a deep breath in immediately after opening the jar of thyme to get a better idea.
Beware of “pine” smelling cleaners. The oil is one if the stronger smelling essential oils and why a lot of cleaners and adhesive companies use it as an odor mask to cover up the harsh chemical odors. -
Thanks@angiep, I appreciate your input. I reordered and will come back to let you guys know my opinion.
Have a great rest of the weekend everyone!

I like using boss. People got used yo the smell of bleach. The smell also dissipates. And I feel better using it around my pet and kitchen.

I have no problem whatsoever with Clean Boss. I liked the original and I like this version of it. I was fortunate to have purchased many of the original when it was on clearance and at one point it was free shipping. So I used my HSN Card and stocked up, purchased lots and lots. I was using it when Covit broke out and through out the entire year of 2020 and 2021. I still have packages of the cleaning clothes and pads along with the mini bottles that came with it. I always carry a mini bottle in my purse.
I purchased two sets of the Clean Boss when they had the first time. I used it in the kitchen, another in the bathroom. I spry packages that comes in the mail before opening them. I spry with it on item from the grocery store that can be sprayed and wiped down. I like it.
But I cook with herbs all the time, lots and lots of herbs. Thyme is my favorite herb, second is oregano. I used it as medicine, not just a tea spoon or tablespoon as a recipe would call for it. I also use Bay leaves, garlic, onions in my cooking everytime. -
It’s almost amusing, but not really, when these hosts claim “It’s going to be a sellout” “Put one in my cart before they sellout ” (the host’s cart), “We only have a couple hundred left” and then when you look up the item on the HSN’s web site, the item is still available…even on clearance!! I just don’t believe most of their sales pitches. Returning a item is such a hassle that shopping here isn’t enjoyable anymore….for me anyway.

Well I’m back to give my opinion on Clean Boss. I love it. I can see how the smell can be a bit much for some but it doesn’t bother me at all. @angiep description was spot on. And the things it does to glass, wow!
I am shocked that I like this product. The reviews are horrifying but something said, try it. Glad I did.
Thanks everyone for your input!
