CHINA VS USA MADE COSMETICS

Ladies, for your safety PLEASE check where your cosmetics come from. China made cosmetics are not regulated like in the USA and can have many toxins such as lead, mercury, aluminum and even bacteria from unsanitary conditions. If the country of origin is stated as “imported” you can be sure it is China and the company does not want you to know. If it is made in USA the manufacturer is proud to display this fact. Some of the brands that are made in USA on HSN are Signature Club A and Skinn. It cosmetics, Mally, some Urban Decay, and many more are made in China. You are putting these products on your eyes and lips..do you really want to use contaminated products !

I agree. What is happening now is that some of the vendors are now being deceptive when you flat out ask them if their products are made in China. They will skirt around and tell you they are distributed in the US and not tell you they are MANUFACTURED in China. This is extremely upsetting to me to be lied to like that! I feel we have a right to know where things are coming from, especially if we are ingesting them or putting them on our bodies. Also, the shopping channels are now trying to deceive the shoppers sometimes by putting “imported” instead of Made in China. I have even called the shopping channels to ask them where a particular item is imported from and always get the same answer “we do not know”. Sorry, but I don’t believe that and feel I am being lied to. I just know China does not have the same standards as the US. My pet died after eating the Chinese made pet treats, so I now make sure anything my pets eat is from the US.

  Like the other person, I feel certain that if it says ‘imported’ it is from China virtually all of the time. Of course they know where the products come from, and they want to hide it from customers. This is all about making the maximum profit and putting that first above everything else.
