Can we help the hosts find some different word choices?
I’m sitting here watching Debbie D this morning, and don’t get me wrong, I love me some Debbie (she’s a breath of fresh air). But her constant use of the phrase “to die for” when referring to clothing items, colors, etc. is wearing thin on me. IMO, there’s absolutely no inanimate object that is worth “dying for” and yes, I know it’s “just a phrase” that’s commonly used.
But let’s try to come up with some other descriptive options for the hosts who may run out of words…I know it’s difficult to be creative when live on TV. Fabulous, beautiful, gorgeous, lovely, trendy, trend-right, wearable…anybody have any other ideas?
And if you disagree, I certainly respect your opinion…I’m just stating mine here. Thank you and have a safe, pleasant day.

How about BOGO or Bow and go. “Literally” is the one that gets me and I don’t care if it is used correctly or not. When this is the only word they say it makes them seem .

How about the overstayed Bobbi saying GORGEOUSSSSS. go away and have something to eat.

The other day on Obsessed with Style, she was presenting Giuliana’s TSV and kept saying “Fashion Forward”. Then used it with every item she was selling!! I mean come on. If you need more adjectives then make friends with google.

Shannon, Tamara, Michelle, Valerie. “As well”…Ugh, so annoying and over used.
Helen., every other word practically is ” like”. or when ” literally” is used incorrectly. Just drives me crazy. Please, hosts and vendors, take heed with what the customer suggests.

Funny, because when she said, to die for, I yelled at the t.v. Not going to say what I yelled though. Such a dumb saying. If you die, how can you enjoy wearing all the beautiful fashions? How about to live for instead? I know I’ve posted this very same comment before. Clearly, I’m passionate 😁 But yes, some host struggle with their “fashion vocabulary” but I imagine talking about a particular item for a set time frame isn’t easy. Some host make it look easier than others for sure.

I am not a Debbie D fan so anything she says irks me. I watched her present bra & panties with another host and Debbie kept saying how her husband likes her underwear to match. Even the host said something like TMI.
