Bobbie Ray

Sadly any parties on the air always are still about sell, sell, sell, Bobbi must have said 10 times, we have to get back to selling. It is the nature of the beast, they are on the air to sell, not just celebrate. I think if they were still in FL Bobbi would still be there at least part time.

I agree, this farewell party was awful. There should have been a dedicated hour of gifts, speeches, etc. I expected to see Joy, Diane Gilman and Adrienne at a minimum. How about former hosts like Shannon Smith and Colleen. The whole thing was a dud. After 43 years Bobbie deserved better. Shame on HSN.

I agree, Bobbie didn’t need to sell on the last hours she worked.

Liz Folce frim Nakery did give Bobbi a gift, it was an embroidered sweatshirt with her name on it,. I was also wondering where Adrienne was.

It’s a shopping channel. All of the anniversaries and farewells include selling. It’s valuable tv time. I’m sure there are normal parties off-air.

The Beekmans gave her a gold-leaf Goatie. Bobbi did receive gifts.

I agree with both your posts. Bobbie Ray was certainly deserving of a much better farewell party than they gave her. Selling items???? No, that was in very bad taste. Just wish her much happiness in whatever her future may be. Also, many other vendors were missing that she had presented their products over the years.

I was appalled they made her sell product at her own party, so tacky of hsn. Also, where was Adrien arpel, Anthony, and Diane gilman? She wasn’t even presented with a cake or a plaque or anything. I was hoping for more of a “this is your life” type party, bringing in past hosts and funny stories. Hsn fell badly at this send off. I wish Bobbi all the best.
