beekman lip balm
tried this versus product from health food store. Well, they go on pretty dry, some gritty. I do not like I can taste the smell if u know what i mean. Some are strong fragrances not meant to be eaten. lol They are going back. I should have stuck to tried & true. Also, attempted to leave review & states I did not purchase product in past 365 days. This has happened to me before. Way too expensive to deal with the icky waxy flowery flavor.

If they seem dry I wonder if they are just old and drying out. I can’t use their lip balms bcuz they give me sores at the corner of my mouth. I tried different scents at different times with months between and each time I’d get sores. Cheap waxy lip balm doesn’t do this so I have no idea why. Unless I’m allergic to goats milk!

Interesting. I have never had them go on dry. They are smooth, not waxy, and soothing. I keep one everywhere. I do not agree though that you only need to apply once a day. I bought the J Maran argan oil stick and that goes on dry and stays dry. To each his own I guess

I have to agree that the Beekman lip balm goes on dry and hard and I was disappointed. However, I kept using mine and before long it softened and now goes on creamy and soothing. I hope they can do something to overcome the initial dryness and hardness; it’s sure not a good introduction to a product meant to soothe dry cracked lips.

I agree that they go on dry. I was really surprised that they weren’t smooth & creamy. I got vanilla only, and they had no flavor & no smell. I wish they did!!
I hate sending stuff back, so I’ll probably never try products again from the Beekman company.
