Anybody else receive USED items from HSN?

I just received an Iman dress on clearance which I know is a return from someone else. It reeks so heavily of perfume that it will knock you over. Shame on HSN for selling something as new which is not.

YES. I RECEIVED A RHONDA SHEARS VEST WITH THE TAG ON IT CUT OFF AND ANIMAL FUR ALL OVER IT. I DID NOT BUY IT AS A “AS IS” ITEM BUT IT WAS ON SALE. CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RETURNED IT FOR FULL REFUND INCLUDING THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING. HSN NEEDS TO EMPLOY COMPETENT EMPLOYEES WHO DO THEIR JOBS RIGHT.

I too recv’d used shoes (Vince Cameo) and a used pair of ‘shorty style’ Bearpaws too. I returned them both. I asked for a full refund to incl my shipping both ways. after speaking to a manager about it – they complied.

I bought these shoes in new condition because I bought them before, “As Is” was created. Since shoe Boxes come with a rubber band, you would think they would open the box and look to see what is inside. When I saw how disgusting they looked, I felt sick.

I also received a purse with an ink pen from a credit union inside a side pocket. Since it is a purse that appeared to be in good condition, I kept it.

I’ve rc’d as is items that were brand new and new items that were obviously used. Maybe it depends on the people who deal with return merchandise makes me wonder what they are told on how to process.
And beauty products it would help if they could sell small sample sizes to see which ones we like instead large sizes are sold and then sent back and then they have to throw away? That is why it is so important that lotions and creams are sealed.
One time I ordered a rolling cart and not only did it have a previous owners return slip inside the box but had a broken wheel. How could this get past the people who process return items.

I have received USED merchandise from HSN in the past and it has really changed my appreciation for this company. I received a pair of Bearpaw boots that were so dirty they were absolutely disgusting – inside fur lining was completely matted and stained, black hairs inside each boot, the bottom of each boot was badly scuffed, and the inside of the boots had been sprayed with a sanitizer. Received NO apologies from HSN. I believe I have reached my limit with HSN.

Yes, I have received a quilted handbag of G. It was a used item by the shape it was in.
The stitching was coming off from the front flap and no tissue papers stuffed inside of the bag.
I posted it on customer service as ” Do not send out USED items for new orders.”
HSN replaced me with a new one which should have done it first place. Its an extra unnecessary work to wrap the old box and drive to the post office.

Yes, I ordered two of a clothing item. One had the terrible chemical smell that HSN is known for. The other smelled like Tide. It was not worn out or used like others described, it just had been washed. I tried both items on and the washed one fit but the terrible chemical smell one was way too tight, cut wrong. In the reviews, people said the black pair was cut way too small as compared to the other colors. So I kept the Tide smelling one and just washed it again in borax laundry additive to get out the perfume. I thought about not keeping it but I like the garment a lot and it fits good. I will say that I decided not to order from HSN in the future.

HSN states they do not resell any returns maybe jewelry but I think if the garment is returned and in great/good condition they do not sell it as an as is purchase it is sold as new.
Especially, when they run completely out of stock of a garment that they state will not be getting any more in stock till next year and then 2 months later your color and size appear online.
I believe that was a return.
Just my opinion.

I have received a pair of used shoes from HSN.

The shoes were very used. The bottom inside had the shape of a black foot on both insides of the shoes.

There were no apologies or explanations from HSN.
