Always in pajamas?? No, Callie, just NO!
I hope this ‘comfort pajama’ fad all day long and everywhere we go, goes away as quickly as possible. It’s so demoralizing to go out into the world everyday and see people wearing, what my grandmother would call, ‘knock around’ clothes. I really miss the days when people had the self-confidence and dignity to want to look nice and dress up.

I can’t stand when I turn on a shopping channel and these types of clothes are being sold. They must be popular because I see them sold on a consistent basis. The host encourage women to wear them out in public (insert eye roll). They are so sloppy looking and it takes no effort to put an outfit together. I can only imagine what other countries think of Americans dressed in this manner.

I can’t stand the sight of one more female with skin tight leggings and the seam running up her derriere. Ugh! That kind of ‘comfort’ was really only meant for the home. Don’t understand why some of these hosts are on the bandwagon to push this demoralizing condition.

SAD BUT TRUE.
You don’t find this kind of pajama clothing trend in Europe or Asia. Only in America.
People spend money to buy clothes only to look to be sloppy. Yes, comfort is important but don’t you want to look nice as well.? I am a person who brought up in a different cultural . My mother never owned a pair of slacks. Yes, it might be too old fashioned, but back then, it was considered not a lady like..
I don’t buy clothes from HSN but I had to make a comment -
Have you been on a plane, or even grocery shopped lately? It’s so sad the way sloppiness has taken over lately. One bright spot though, I recently saw a TV segment about the rise in consignment shops, especially those that carry more designer clothes. These stores are also on line. Maybe this “pajama” tread is fading? I doubt if any famous designers had a line of couture pajamas!!!! Maybe??? I doubt it.

The clothes people wear grocery shopping are bad enough, but some of the unwashed hair for days is enough to make you gag when they walk by. I guess grocery shopping requires no dignity. I saw a young gal pushing her cart & putting groceries into her trunk I could not help but notice the skintight leggings with no underwear riding up in her rear end crack. Just disgusting. Few if any want to see all that mess. .

I really don’t care what people wear, it is none of my business. If you don’t like something, then don’t watch or look at it. There are other things in life more concerning than what someone chooses to wear.
-
Hummmm, “don’t watch or look at it”? The point was how everywhere you go, the sloppiness is all around, stores, planes, etc. So, how do you not look at it??? Can’t go around with your head held up or down, can you??? True, there are more serious issues in life, but being nicely dressed does not require a lot of money, just a clean pair of jeans, decent top…..you get the idea. Pajamas are for sleeping! It’s a trend, so HSN will no doubt encourage the hosts to push for as many PJ sales as possible.

Are you talking about cuddle duds? I love cuddle duds! I have several cuddle duds loungewear that I wear out sometimes to meet friends for lunch. No one ever questions why I’m wearing clothes that should be worn only at home. These look like regular capris with a matching top. I do have PJs by cuddle duds that I only wear to bed.

No, not at all. Cuddle Duds are put together nicely….looks like a matching outfit, not sloppy looking at all. But, we’re talking about a completely different look.
