I saw that too. Alyce said she is retiring after next Saturday. She was not my favorite either. She seemed like everything she was selling was beneath her. Like she vacuums her own house or uses toilet cleaner.

I like Alyce and I am sad she is leaving. Yes sometimes I got sick of her bragging about the “House” in Vale, Co., but she is nice to the guests and has a soothing voice, and she’s been through a lot in her lifetime, and so now she gets enjoy her wonderful partner Rich and enjoy the millions she has earned being a host for 20 years. I hope Marlo is out, they changed her schedule so she won’t be on air for a while, she is so rude to the vendors, especially Jon Florell, and always says “I need to get in there” during them speaking, and she rambles and rambles, just a mess. To each their own. Ty has a big announcement during the Morning Show on Monday 12/11, I wonder what that is about. Oh well . . . . .

I was very surprised to see that segment with the flowers handed by Callie to her best friend Alyce Caron.
However, I always thought that Callie completely outshines Alyce and she just doesn’t have the sales alent that many other hosts have…. So instead of firing/ terminating Alyce, HSN probably allowed her to “retire”…. easier for us HSN customers to digest I guess.
if anyone is overdue to retire it should be Bobby Ray Carter….
But then again, each of us loyal HSN customers have our own personal preferences in hosts …. So to each their own.

I do think the send off today could have been better. It was a little embarrassing and awkward.

I always liked Alyce’s calm demeanor and her politeness toward the on air guests. I prefer that over the more manic style of hosting. She must’ve had good numbers or she wouldn’t have been there so many years. Not all customers respond well to the fast talking “time is running out” sales pitches of many hosts. I wish her well and am curious who they will pair with Callie next
