WELCOME TO FRIDAY NIGHT TRIVIA, MARCH 11, 2022
For some, winter is still hanging on. Yet, tomorrow we must spring ahead an hour. This could be your number one reason for sleeping late on Sunday. To help with the new time, here are a few jokes:
“I don’t mind going back to daylight saving time. With inflation, the hour will be the only thing I’ve saved all year.” Victor Borge
“What is the shortest month?… May, because it has only 3 letters!”
“Why didn’t the clock work?… It needed a hand.”
“Why are Saturday and Sunday the strongest days?… Because all the others are weak-days!”
“What did the thief who stole a calendar get?… Twelve months!”
“Being retired, my spouse often loses track of time, days and dates. I reminded hubby that we would lose an hour tonight.” The response – “I lose days at a time, an hour ain’t nothing.”
It is almost time for the first question, so for the ones who have not played the game, the directions: The questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade. Questions begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm EST. depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Also, join us in light conversation, ideas or whatever and LET THE FUN BEGIN…. 🙂
For those of you seeing the question on HSN TV, Cellphone, Android, Tablet, etc go to the Arcade and click on the Rewards Store. Above you will most likely see the question pertains to Baseball. Click on “Answer Now” and type the correct response in that area. Not to worry, it will take and you will receive 200 tickets. Having problems, return to this thread, and we will help you. And, if you have NEVER answered the spring training question, then answer baseball for an additional 200 ticket

“I’m so glad we had this time together

Seems we just got started

Comes the time we have
to say, ‘So long.”Good night all. Have a great weekend and a wonderful week. Don’t forget to jump ahead one hour tomorrow night. Enjoy St.Patty’s Day and all the corned beef and cabbage you can eat. Until next week may you all have pleasant dreams. Good night.’ ‘ ‘

Hello OODIEBOM,
Just saw your greeting. Traffic is just as bad over here. Lately we have been in mid-eighties during the days and seventies at night. Now we are going to get a cold front, 45 degrees tomorrow night and 35 Sunday night, nuts. I have always been careful not to plant before the middle of March. I left you a post responding to your post to me. Don’t know if you saw it, about two or three days ago, maybe.

xango, don’t fret. Looks like the Gulf Coast will see the same. Looks like the rain event may be going in another direction. 4″ below average, but who’s counting.
-
I am actually looking at the routes North. It took us 25 minutes just to go 2 miles North on I-75. Going South just as bad. We won’t be leaving right away, but have a feeling we will be cancelling our doctor appointments if the cardiologist gives hubby the OK to travel North.
-
Xango, what do you plant?
-
Hi Sanibelsheller, not much but mostly herbs. I have green onions year round. In the spring I get herbs from Lowe’s. I have done well with potatoes, since I am the only one that can eat. A 3 pound bad goes bad and starts to get buds (eyes) I think that’s what it is. So I plant them and 4 to 5 months I have little potatoes, that at the store a very small bag is $4.00, perhaps more now.
All this is in containers.

Hi to everyone. Thanks for the answers. It’s nice that they are really having the questions up for us. Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Hi pbjelly. Hope you had a great week. The weekend could be snow or rain depending upon where you are at the moment. Other than that, it should be OK.

It did it again.

Not only did it do it again, but it didn’t take my answer when I put the two together. I’ll try again.
