WELCOME TO FRIDAY NIGHT TRIVIA, DECEMBER 17, 2021
“It’s beginning to look like Christmas everywhere I go.” In Florida, because of the hot sun the trees are under a tent. Though it’s not cold here, and though we do not have snow, so instead of a sleigh ride we have the hay rides. The decorations are up and look beautiful on the lake. So much work goes into this and yet, before nightfall they are glowing. Anyway, I just couldn’t help to reminisce a bit. I do miss going into NYC and gaze at the window displays. I do not miss the cold and NYC you do feel it. So, instead of gazing we would try to find a hotel lobby, or a restaurant to warm our hands and our toes. Anyway, it’s a week before Christmas and hopefully Santa will come a little early and deliver some Trivia questions.
For the newcomers, the questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade. Questions begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm EST. depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Hello Oodiebom..Fell asleep early.woke up and answered 1 question.fell back to sleep before next question..lol😴been fighting a cold all week.Can’t remember last time I had one.it’s now early sunday morn and beginning to feel more clear headed! Hi ddshoppy. Trivia seemed to be back on track last week when the questions were being funneled by HSNTV. Only problem, hubby was watching a movie. Thankfully others chimed in and gave us the question and answer every half hour. Last week it was totally HSN. Those watching TV had to be fast. Questions were not on for very long. This week was a bit different. Every other question seemed to be in the Rewards Store while others were on TV. I surmise the tech unit is testing the waters. For that cold I recommend chicken soup with loads of veggies and some noodles thrown in. I also favor Manuka honey as well. Take care and I hope you feel better soon.

I want to say how grateful I am for all who provided the answers. My PAD was not Switching back and forth from community to Arcade my Pad didn’t want to cooperate. It keeps buffering and buffering.

Next week is Christmas Eve and usually HSN closes shop between 3 and 4 pm. However, under Barry Diller the Tech support team usually used this opportunity to work on the computer glitches. I don’t know if this holds true for next week. I know that the Arcade will be open for everyone to play their games, but not so sure about Trivia. Trivia is an unusual game where questions are asked and our answer either works or it doesn’t and so we get the “OOPS.” I will be here regardless and will be checking. So, pop in if you can. Meanwhile, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Be safe and Enjoy. If you are joining family and friends, I would be best if you wear your mask (except when enjoying the delights), keep your hands clean and continue to practice social distancing. I am not sure of this new variant and so, at least, it is better to be safe than sorry.

Hello vacuumlover, I was in and out of Trivia tonight. Switching back and forth from community to Arcade my Pad didn’t want to cooperate. It keeps buffering and buffering.

Deb, it makes me real angry when a judge sides with the wife in supporting the child. It is time that they look and read and then consider the whole story and the effect it is having on the offspring. A man is just as capable in bringing up his child especially when there are things in place so the child is not alone when he comes home from school. Your grandson needs a childhood and not have to worry where he will be tomorrow, next month or the next year. A son usually goes to the mother, but in this case she seems not to be interested. And, if this is the case, then the Judge should be made aware of this situation. What he/she does will affect that child for years to come.

Oodie, I’m not sure where my update about the Sept. court date went. I think it’s on page 2. Hope you can find it. Sorry, not thinking real straight lately. They’re supposed to split custody of son. Please look back for post on page 2.

Deb, you are so welcome. I hope everything turns out the way you want. Please, if you have any questions or concerns please post in this thread. Yes, I will see it and if not, Sheba will . And thanks for your concern with my hubby. Yes, he is doing better memory wise. However he is having problems with his knee and has physical therapy twice per week. We have an orthopedist appointment coming up this week. So far, he is not permitted to drive. Maybe that’s a good thing since he misplaced his driver’s license. I’m laughing because he so wants to get behind the wheel and now he has no choice but to listen to the physician. Someone is on my side.

Oodie, so sorry to hear hubby is still struggling with physical pain. PT can really be tough but it does seem to help most. My hubby is having memory problems but with a personality change. He’s never been mean before. I think it really bothers him that he can’t think of words or what he’s wants to tell me. I’m trying to be very patient but sometimes I just can’t figure out what he’s trying to say. Once I know the subject, I can usually figure it out. He agreed today to have a CT scan & see a specialist. So happy for this. He just passed his drivers’ license test. I can imagine how much your husband misses driving but that would be really difficult with a bad knee. I know what you mean about the driving. I was praying someone was on my side when he took it, but he passed just the same. Will keep you in prayers. May this Christmas bring you all the joy in the world & may all the pain be gone for your hubby & for you. I know how hard it is to see someone you love hurting. It makes us hurt just seeing them in pain. You and Sheba are my angels.

Just checked for a question. Back to spring training again. Oh well in another month and a half we will be seeing that spring training in Florida.
