This is Memorial Weekend. A weekend for remembrance of fallen heroes.
Fallen heroes are not only those who fought a war, but for those whose
lives have been taken at a very young age. Please remember our children,
our friends, family members and for those whose lives were lost before
they actually had a chance to begin.

Well, it is that time again when we must bring the curtain down and wait until next week to begin anew. If you are going to a get together, picnicking, watching a parade, and out and about, please wear those masks and be aware of your surroundings as well. I want to see you back here next week as we begin a new month. Take care and please take time to do something special not only for yourself but others as well.   Always crazy in town here since we are on a large lake and lots of tourists….no locals go into town until after the weekend and leave it to the tourists! Not complaining because they bring the money$$$

  Sounds like our Cape Cod. We have only two bridges that connect with the mainland and those get pretty crowded not only on the weekends but on weekdays also. It once took us over 8 hours to go 20 miles and that taught us to leave either very early on a Sunday or wait until late afternoon on Monday. Of course, now, we are in Florida so no worries about the bridges.
