Back ground is and distracting

No you are not the only one to notice the change and I prefer the way it was set up in the past as well.
Also the dealing and ability to move the cards in place is s l o w motion. It is difficult to move the cards into position.
Plus when you do finish with the game the cards jump around but the score doesn’t add up on your total! What is with that and don’t dare hit the refresh button because that takes you out of the game as well as no score added to your scoreboard.

I dislike the new version very much –

I do find the background somewhat distracting. My biggest issue with the updated cards is that all the Kings have the same picture (red outfit), all the queens have one picture (white outfit), but the jacks have a white outfit on the red cards and a black outfit on the black cards. The jacks are an improvement, but it would have been nice to at least have black outfits on all the black face cards and red outfits on the red face cards. I think it would have been even better if, for example, the queens all had the same picture but with the outfit in a different color depending on the suit. Maybe use red, pink, black and grey depending on the suit.
