No double tickets 100,000 score needed to qualify for entry?
No double tickets yet. Are you sure 100,000 points is what you need to qualify for GOTW entry? I love Dark Dimensions and have only been able to get up to 87,770 before the game finishes. I have been playing this awhile as fast and as smart as I can and have never scored 100,000 plus. Ant thoughts??

PS ~ For those saying it’s possible to get the minimum score for this week’s GOTW, just look at the ranking for the week ~ doesn’t seem Iike that many… 🙄

Whomever is really responsible for choosing the GOTW and the qualifying score needs to be a bit more realistic and fair to the majority of players. Several GOTW minimum scores have been ridiculous in recent weeks (as well as the same games over and over). It’s obvious there’s not a “Shannon” or, if there is, she’s not playing the game and getting that score (it always seems to be a rounded off number, too, which is a giveaway it’s not a real score). This week’s minimum score of 100,000 is not that easy to achieve ~ unless someone has playing this week’s game often and for a long time. Most of us on here are just playing for fun, anyway, but it would be nice to know we have a chance at winning something (which isn’t much, any more, either)! And, yes, there’s the Alternate Entry we can “buy” into for a chance at the weekly prize (that’s one way to use our tickets!); however, I’m sure most of us would rather play the game and earn our entry(ies). I’ll also send this to the Help Center, since who knows will see it here besides the players…

I was wondering about the double tickets. I was happy to see the dark dimensions as the game of the week finally because that’s the main game I play anyway, but noticed it was not giving double tickets and I really was in need of tickets because I don’t play as much as I used to. I do the alternate entry for all games anyway, but will play gotw for the tickets if it’s mahjong.

Also remember there is the alternative entries to the GOTW too, so the scores really don’t matter since you have another way to enter the contest. Having the highest doesn’t mean you will win anything.

Thanks for the feedback. I could have been getting double tickets on regular version?? Thanks for the info. I guess I really do not need the extra tickets……I have over 300,00 and not enough reward store items to even put a dent into the total. I have used over a million in entries and still have not won a thing! I suggested letting us use them to get $$ off our purchases but I have not seen any action on that.

You are correct. It is difficult to get over 100,000 on Dark Dimensions, but every day there are people who do it.
You are also correct that Dark is not giving double tickets today. “Regular” Mahjongg Dimensions is though. I think it’s even harder to get over 100,000 on that game, but a few people can do it.
So something’s not right. The GOTW is either one or the other, but in either case it will be a small pool of players beating Shannon’s alleged score.
It’s like they’re picking new games for GOTW (a good thing) but also picking random scores out of the air for people to beat. It happened a couple of weeks ago with Wander Words. I think at the end of the week there were only 2 or 3 people eligible to win based on score. And congrats to the one of them that did!

I agree. I generally score in the low 90 thousands and have only scored over 100,000 once despite playing constantly and having a great memory. Really disappointed that there are no double tickets either since this is the game I generally play the most.
