Tomorrow is Christmas Eve The year and the week flew by before I had a chance to blink my eyes. I hope this week was good for you and put you in the joyous mood that is part of the Hoiiday season. It’s the best time of year when friends and family come together and hopefully the spirit will remain in each of us forever and a day. And, the week could not have been better than to celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas at the same time.
Questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade, And begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm DST depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. NOTE; Sometimes a little gremlin will pose a question that requires a number. In those instances it may not accept for example 16. It’s the correct response, but you may need to spell it out: sixteen. Other times there may be a two word answer such as: Happy Birthday. Happy Birthday may need to be written as one word: Happybirthday. There are also times when the answer is a plural even though the question seems to reflect something that isn’t. However, sometimes it is easier to check this thread for the correct response.

Good evening everyone and Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays to one and all! I know I don’t sign in often but I’m celebrating a tiny achievement this week. Yesterday my total points (or tickets to some) hit the grand total of 17 Million! Obviously, I’ve been at this for quite a few years and that represents untold hours/weeks/months or maybe even years of time wasting. VBG Oh well, being old (turning 85 in 3 weeks) not much else I can do except watch TV and listen to TV while playing games. Right now a rerun of Law and Order from 1995 is playing. Nothing on the big 3 network channels caught my interest. Have a good evening friends! Iowa is in the midst of negative temperatures and a blizzard. Sigh.

Florida is a bit warmer with some rain. However, our 40 degrees is equivalent to your 30s. The heat is on in our home and I hope the same for yours. Congratulations on almost 85. Try not to think of it as an age, but rather to how you feel and what you can do. My mom, in her 80s, felt like 40 and I hope the same for you. It’s really just a number and be thankful you have reached that milestone. Enjoy the Holiday and I hope and pray you get to spend many more.

When mom and I moved from Marlow Heights, Maryland to Washington, DC we stayed with a friend in a tiny apartment for a while. We didn’t have two dimes to rub together. I remember one New Year’s eve we went to the supermarket got some things and grapes. At midnight we made 12 wishes, starting with everyone having enough to eat. To one day I have a good career, a house and be able to have all the things a 15 old girl dreams of. Well they all came true, husband, house, career, car etc.

My life has been much like yours. I got educated and had a great career, thus, I along with my wonderful husband who got educated and worked hard and had a great job while bringing up our family. It was not easy. We have a comfortable retirement now. I do not feel sorry for many of those who are relying on government assistant and who by choice, choose not to pursue educating themselves. When in the grocery story recently, a woman with 3 children in front of me, let her daughter run a EBT card through the reader and commented, “I am so proud, my 7-year-old daughter is learning how to do this” When going to my car, I noticed she was getting in a new SUV. How sad. No wonder why we see “help wanted ” signs everywhere, no one wants to work to better themselves anymore when they can rely on the government to support them. There are many people who need help, but there are too many who are playing the system and are living a good life off the government. Things need to change, or this will become a socialist country. I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and all Gods Blessings in the New Year! Stay safe!
