Please, God forbid. I do not need nor want this virus or whatever I had ever, ever, ever again. My strength is not there yet, but I’m working on it. Today I was able to shop at our Farmer’s Market. I had a great time and they were going around with stuff to sample. Loved the way they did a corned beef and there was some already made that you could purchase. I think I may return after the weekend to see if there is any left. It was delicious, but my frig is full.

Thanks so much Sheba. I took a chance that you would see my note. Hubby looked good considering there was no light in the room and I had to wake him from a sound sleep. His color is returning and as I said above, his hands were cool to the touch. I am beginning to think that the virus was still attacking his system. I gave him a good talking to a couple of days ago where I really blasted him for not eating nor was he drinking enough liquids. I guess it did some good. Got a thumbs up by his roommate.

Oops. Al most forgot to mention. I was at our Farmer’s Market this afternoon and they had something new for everyone to try. It was called the Cocoa Fruit. It is from this that your chocolate and cocoa powder are made. You cut around the outer skin until you can open it. Inside are the clear seeds which are edible. I missed the free tasting on this by minutes. I didn’t purchase. Thought it was too cost prohibitive. I forgot to buy the Dragon Fruit which was $2.99 each. Goes real good with blueberries. Strawberries are just coming into season in Florida. They were 2 pints for $5….I am totally allergic to strawberries, but do get them for hubby.

Oodie, if you have Asian grocery stores where you are, you’ll find an amazing variety of fruits that are unavailable, or prohibitively expensive in regular supermarkets. Jackfruit, durian, and dragonfruit are almost always found. And you’ll also find mangoes that are waaay better than the standard Tommy Atkins that most stores carry. In the Maryland suburbs we have Lotte plaza which is a good chain, but there are also a slew of stores called G-Mart, H-Mart etc that are pretty good. I haven’t seen cacao fruit tho”.

Sounds like you are either having sleet or freezing rain. Be careful when you are out and about. Could be very slippery.
