IT'S FRIDAY NIGHT. TIME FOR TRIVIA. MAY 19, 2023
Questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade, And begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm DST depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Also, join us in light conversation, ideas or whatever and LET THE FUN BEGIN….
NOTE; Sometimes a little gremlin will pose a question that requires a number. In those instances it may not accept for example 16. It’s the correct response, but you may need to spell it out: sixteen. Other times there may be a two word answer such as: Happy Birthday. Happy Birthday may need to be written as one word: HappyBirthday. There are also times when the answer is a plural even though the question seems to reflect something that isn’t. However, sometimes it is easier to check this thread for the correct response.

Ok, I am starting Trivia a bit early. This is my way of saying I miss the game and everyone who posts in this thread. I am now on my way to see hubby. At the moment he is confined to a wheelchair because a knee is giving him tons of pain. Once we know what is going on with the urologist he will be seen by our orthopedist and at that time he will probably need some physical therapy to get the muscles working and then surgery for the knee replacement. Hopefully, I will see all of you later this evening. Until then feel free to post before and while the game is on. Don’t forget that this thread is opened until next week. See you soon.
-
Thank you. So thoughtful of you. You and your husband are in our prayers. God speed.

Your cooking. 😎💕Is it cool in the burbs of DC? Kansas is cold and rainy tonight.

I’m 65 (ouch!) Back in the day, we were called gluttons. Now, we’re foodies! I was born, raised and educated in Calcutta. My husband (US Foreign Service) was posted in India. Came here in 1981 and the rest is history. BTW, didn’t know how to boil water, but the alternative to starving was learning to cook really f.a.s.t.
-
You shared some recipes a few times here and they were really interesting. Xango is a great
cook too. ✨✨ I love your post yeah here in the States you do have to learn how to cook fast.
You are so funny. 🌹 -
If I had to start all over again, I would DEF. go to culinary school. Now, I merely Google it and cook it. BTW, another reminder. Goodwillbooks.com is a TERRIFIC place to buy books. Good selection and NO shipping charges!
-
I will check that out I love trying new things Xango and others have given me great ideas.
-
Spring here is usually short. But it’s been GREAT for a while now. Come July, temp is just like Calcutta, Hot, Humid and full of bugs.
-
Oh, snap Kansas in July is like that. 😎 I almost forgot my family used to live in the DC area.

Thank you Maxienne, went nuts on this one!
Welcome back ,Odie, nice to see you again!
Just wanted to say seeing your reports on hubby, did you know there are physical therapists who come to your home? I’m sure the other types of therapists do too. After I was released from hospital once, a phys. Therapist showed up the next day & 3x a week for a month.
-
Hi fem. I think I mentioned that to Sheba this afternoon on another thread. Yes, that was discussed with th e assistant to the orthopedist. Hubby could be home in three weeks. Of course he will probably be in a wheelchair, but we will get him into the house no matter what. Getting him into bed is another story, but I do know there are lifts to help maneuver him. I am hoping that we can say goodby to th e catheter. I gave hubby this news today. He was all smiles.
-
Could you build or buy a ramp to get him in house? Best wishes that all will go great!

Hi everyone. I am now home. I did try to send a note out while I was visiting hubby, but I do not know what happened to it. I didn’t try again. My hunger alarm went off, and I took off. Anyway, maxienne, thanks for the answer.
-
Glad you made it back in time to join us, even if for a short time. Hope your husband is feeling better. Take care of yourself.
-
Hi maxienne. Things turned a corner this morning and afternoon. Hubby, may be able to get the reconstructive surgery on that knee. The urology appointments will be first and once we know what is happening, we will be able to make an appointment with the orthopedist and go from there. The Rehab on Wednesday said hubby will never walk again and I should be looking at a nursing home. The Physical Therapist said no amount of exercise will help the situation. Well, come to find out, he has to have therapy to get the muscles to work again and it will also include pain management.
-
Hi Sheba. Tomorrow is a huge day. I hope tobe up at the crack of dawn to move all the furniture out of the lanai. That will include everything on the walls and then some. The lanai is finally getting a huge facelift.
-
May be I will be able to unroll the waterproofed rugs?????
-
I am so happy things are moving along. Good for you. 😎🌹✨
