fem, a year or two ago QVC tried to take down the Community Board to no avail. There was a lot of descension and they even posted in our threads letting the CEOs know their opinions. I think that is what is needed for Trivia and other things we like that seem to be falling by the wayside.

Oodie I know as I read that board & occasionally post there. It’s still alive at this time so if they discontinue this one, that’s an alternative. Maybe someone could start a post here complaining about discontinuing trivia & they’ll llsten (ha)! Glad to see you are fine after hurricane!

fem, this hurricane seemed to follow the same path as Ian, but the wind direction went North to South, so that alone saved my roof. I had to evacuate and did so for two nights. Hubby’s rehab center was supposed to evacuate to Orlando but just before boarding the bus, a decision was made to stay where they were. The Rehab is on the Braden River and there were coastal signs and phone calls. We are all safe and that is the main thing. I won’t say an ything more, but there are at least three more potentials in the Atlantic.

Mine too, gone. I agree this format needs work, perhaps their energy should be put on the forum instead of the “great news”

pbjelly, I also think if more people post about Trivia, it may help to keep it somehow or other. We can do our own point system each Friday night.

rockee, I think we are all disheartened about the decision. But, again, if more people post their thoughts on this subject, maybe they will find a way to keep it.

Hi MzKatz. Missed seeing you post and wondered if you were OK. We will get together on Fridays and maybe other times as well. This is a good conversation thread and a great way to share recipes and other things. It would be fun not to have the ads interrupt a game and a recaptcha that actually works.

Hi maxienne. Not great news. I think they are ending it because of the points. I would like to see it continue. I actually do not need the points, it’s being together that makes it a fun evening.

It’s so dumb. It’s not like you can use the points to buy an item, merely to enter a rewards prize.

Ditto I am so use to being here on Fridays. I will miss Trivia.

Sheba, I am already missing Trivia. I actually wonder how many people enjoy the game that do not post and just wait for us to come up with the correct response.

Hmm……wonder if we can hold our own Trivia game on Fridays.? We can all take turns asking questions and when there is no response give the answer. One person could take over the entire Friday and another the following week and so on and so on.
