Yes, lots of rain. Almost everyday. The Thunderstorms that comes by in the afternoon. But today it started in the morning and has continued all day. Which makes everything green and the grass grows well. -

not much from me tonight. had surgery on my left hand Wednesday and now ensconsed in a big, bulky splint which will change to a regular cast on 6/21. only allowed to use my thumb on the left but thank goodness I can do that. after 6 weeks comes lots of therapy but it will be worth it to get full use of my left hand again. of course, I’m left handed! all of this to repair a slipping tendon that caused an inability to use my index finger because my hand locked up every time I curled that finger even slightly. what fun learning to use my right hand for routine chores such as eating and writing!

But look at the bright side. You can now say you are ambidextrous. Try making finger food. As far as writing goes, typing is easier than holding a pen.

I’ve been ambidextrous pretty much all my life except for eating with utensils and writing. 🙂

Sorry, Obedjudge, you’re having to deal with that hand problem. I wonder if arthritis caused the tendon to move and cause the problem. I have arthritis in my hands. Hope it is better after a while. My daughter is left handed. It’s hard to use the other hand I bet.

I hope you heal quickly and have a complete recovery. My husband and I just got over Covid and we had our 4 th booster shot in May. I really thought we would not become a statistic but I guess our luck ran out.
