
Is it really in “Packaging” or is it actually back ordered?
My order I has been in “Packaging” status for a few days, but the estimated delivery date is 12/17. So is it actually back ordered?

Well, I have an expensive holiday item that is not coming for over a month and they say it is “processing” so I can not cancel it. Same as MukLuk socks ordered weeks ago. Reviews are out and they are terrible. They have been marked “Processing” all this time so I can not cancel them either. You’re right on, this “processing” flag gets junk sent out before people get the chance to read reviews and cancel while most people dislike returning things and QVC is banking on it. It won’t steal my holiday joy. I just won’t be trusting QVC for simple every day items like decent socks or high ticket items like the one I can expect after the holidays are over in January.

You’ve mentioned QVC. I don’t know about QVC, but on HSN when it says processing you can cancel because I’ve done it multiple times. It’s when it says packaging that they won’t let you cancel.

Oh! Thank you so much! I was having problems with both companies not being able to cancel items but I could have gotten mixed up in all my frustration. Funny thing is soon after this post both of my “processing” items suddenly went straight to shipping. I will be watching for the difference between processing and packaging from now on. Thanks again for your help.
