Great News???????

We all knew it was coming to this for a long time now. I would like to say it was fun to play with you all. I mean minus the bad game load times and the advertising. For the record my policy was you advertise and spoil my games then I will never shop for your services. It makes no sense to play games here on HSN without incentive so I am going to miss you all. Oh and for the savants that play and blow everybody out of the water, I loved when you did that every single day. It showed me the diversity of our brains abilities to be amazing. It truly humbled me. I also enjoyed how when somebody had a problem that the community would chime in and generously help each other out. If only the powers that be could see the humanity in us and not just view us as object relations, a revenue stream or “things” especially because we can buy things anywhere. I wish the best for everybody and may your days be blessed with joy and happiness.

That’s just sad, and it’s not great news, at all.

I always hoped I’d win something.. That was part of the fun of coming here!
It was a good way to keep customers more engaged, and keep us coming back….

If I was running things, I’d add MORE games & prizes….
and keep the games running well, too, so they’d be more playable,

And advertise about it, to get more folks excited about HSN!! Just my opinion…

They have taken the joy out of playing since I found out last week about new changes. The main joy for me was keeping track of my points and my overall ranking.
I actually keep track of my rankings I guess around a year after I started playing and I was way over 6,500th place and now a little over 1,000th place. I am sure it would be lower if I was one of the cheaters that get their joy by cheating and racking up 100,000 to over a million points every week. Don’t get the point of that at all. I was thinking maybe thats a part of the reason to not let us get points anymore, if so, they should work on a way to prevent that and have people play honestly. I really do not care for the tickets accumululated and have over 2.5 million and there are hardly any good prizes to even want to designate tickets to. For the most part many of the gifts all have low ratings and the few occasionally that are good and could use I wish we could designate a lot more tickets to. Usually I am playing now and its just not the same anymore and not even bothering with my note pad to jot my ranking down. What a waste of time building my points to be taken away after years of honest playing!!!

I, too am disappointed about tickets being taken away. But, I don’t play the games because of what I could get. I play because of the FUN of playing. I know it seems that everything is getting more & more disappointing these days. But please continue to look at the bright side, At least we still have these games to play.

I’m hoping they’ll either add more prizes or offer unlimited entries so I can use my points. Otherwise I’ll lose a lot of points.

I play for hours while listening to podcasts and webinars. I’ve never won anything. I have a few favorite games but am frustrated by them taking forever to load, freezing, and especially by having to listen to the ads. Hopefully a better experience as I do enjoy listening to the broadcast if it’s something I’m interested in, or something new.

I don’t think it’s great news at all. Having the opportunity to win prizes here was the one thing I looked forward to every Friday, (even though I’ve never won anything). Personally I think they are ending this because of their merger with QVC. QVC used to have prizes once in awhile too, but they discontinued that as well. You don’t have to give a lot to have customers who remain loyal and devoted to you. I think HSN is shooting themselves in the foot by doing this. Just my opinion. People will buy a lot if they feel like they are given a little something back in return.

Sounds like some Corporate Greed going on here. In the final analysis, it appears they will be losing a lot of loyal customers and missing lots of sales. I’m returning more items than ever before anyway.
I do like Andrew Lessman products though. I’ll check back for those if he remains here. Oh.. and Skinn. phooey. Over a million points and no place to spend them.

We are all disappointed. We love Trivia night and we want to be able to use points to try to win. Sounds like this HSN has destroyed all the fun and desire to use HSN,

The “Great News” is we can all spend more time at Facebook, and less time hanging out here. Just think of the money we’ll save.

I have over a million tickets and my credit card is full of HSN purchases. Trivia is fun, but now there’s not much of an incentive to spend so much time here anymore.

I hope they will please add a lot more prizes, even if it’s stuff from clearance. I have over 250,000 tickets and I’m sure there are people with more. Wish I could transfer some to other people. I play games for fun, so I just hope the games work on my pc and don’t hurt my eyes.

Not great news at all. if I put max points on every item, I won’t be able to use all the points I’ve accumulated. This new thing better be good or I won’t spend any time on the website.

Hopefully we’ll finally win something before they close up shop. (seriously I doubt it)
