GOOD NIGHT AND STAY SAFE
AS WE SAY GOODBYE TO JUNE LET US HOPE AND PRAY THAT JULY BRINGS US HEALTH, PEACE AND COMFORT TO ALL WHO ARE SUFFERING IN OUR COUNTRY. LOVE TO ALL. STAY SAFE.

I am 76 with asthma so when I go out (seldom) I wear a mask and wash my hands. I do what I can and then leave the rest to God. I am memorizing Psalm 91 and at my age that is not an easy task, but I’m getting there. Give it a look. If you don’t own a Bible, look it up online. I find it a comfort in these trying times to know that I am in HIS hands and He promises to take good care of me. I don’t mean to simplify things in these complicated and dangerous times, but Faith, Hope, and Love are wonderful medications and my prayers go out to all of America as we celebrate July 4th.

Hi Pookie123, (((((((((((((((((((((((HUGE HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))))) ~ although we’re all thousands of miles apart, we’re all together in our hearts, so distance doesn’t matter. These are really tough times, but my dear, we are tougher, and will get through this together.
I pray daily that those who are creating this bio-war will stop, and not another person or animal will be harmed in the process.
I’m adding you to my daily prayers, for safety, comfort, and happiness. Now that we have this wonderful thread that Homeshopperduck created, (huge hugs to you too) we can feel free to voice our fears and joys.
I love quotes made by amazing people, and here’s one that truly fits these times we’re going through:
“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear but the triumph over it. The brave man or women is not he or she who does not feel afraid, but he or she who conquers that fear.”
by Mr. Nelson Mandela. We can conquer fear together. God Bless us all. I look forward to your next post.
((((((((((((((((More Super Hugs))))))))))))))))) ~PS I believe that humor and laughter is healthy, so here’s a few giggles ~
> I’ve decided to start exercising. I squatted ~ twisted ~ curled ~ jumped up and down ~ and sweated for nearly an hour, and that was just to get my leotard on.
> Feed a cold, starve a fever, give PMS anything it wants.
> Dear stomach, you’re bored, not hungry, so !
> My # 1 diet tip: A sense of humor is more important than eating………………cauliflower rice.-
Hi BonnABC, thank you for your happy post.
Happiness & Prayers right back to you. 😊🙏😊

Your post broke my heart. You are never alone. You have all of your friends here in the arcade. I will say a special prayer for you that you are safe and that someone nearby reaches out to you to ease your loneliness. God Bless You and everyone else, too. Stay strong. We are all in this together. And a lot of us in here aren’t ‘young pups’ either. We understand what you are going through. My mother in law is almost 96 and she lives with family. They have her locked up like it’s Fort Knox and she’s the gold so she doesn’t catch this. It would be the wrong way for someone who made it that long to go!
To everyone else. More positive thoughts. A thread like this is long overdue. And it’s certainly more fun than any of the games we’re left with.

Hi cynsterwytche, thanks for your sweet post. I live alone, but I am not lonely. I have a sweet little Scottish Fold cat and he keeps me company. I don’t go out because I have health problems that make me a great candidate for the virus. I have my groceries delivered and I make one trip a month to my Pharmacy to get my Meds. The last visit was kind of freaky, not too many people out there following the “guidelines” which seem to change every day depending on who you are listening to. I have an Aunt who will turn 97 next month, she moved in to an Assisted Living Facility at the beginning of March and I haven’t seen her since. They are under lock down. But I talk to her on the phone every day. This is the first time in my life I am finding it difficult to keep my sense of humor going, I love to laugh and usually find something amusing in most things, but it is a whole new world now. I’ll tough it out though, after all I am eating my own cooking, that in itself is worthy of some kind of medal of honor. Peace, Love, & Prayers to you cynsterwytche, and all who come through this open door. 😊💗🙏

Thank you for your prayers and wishes Homeshopperduck. I pray for our Country and the World every night. I am glad that you opened this Thread for us, we need a place to go when we are overcome with what our lives are turning in to. I am old, alone, and living smack dab in the middle of one of our hot spots. Maybe together we can help one another a little.
To all who post on this Thread, May you be Happy, May you be Safe, May you be Free from all suffering. 🙏🙏🙏
