Games not Working since Microsoft Update

Microsoft ran an update on my desktop computer that changed
some things on it, and now I can’t play at least some of
the games on here. I like doing the “Today’s Special”
jigsaw puzzle, and it won’t load up for me, anymore.

Anyone have any tips to fix this? I really hate big
Microsoft updates. Sometimes, they’ve messed up our printer
and other things. But now it’s affecting my games! Help! 🙂

Hi, all. Thanks so much for replying to my questions.
I didn’t see until a few days after I posted, because I’ve
been having a bad reaction to some thyroid medicine I
take–so I forgot to come back on here and see if
anyone answered! 🙂 So kind of you to do so, and I
appreciate it.

I’ll try to look into this more, soon. To fbn135: I tried it
both with Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome on the
desktop, and it still didn’t work. I can play the Maj Jong
one, so it looks like certain ones will work and others
don’t. I’ll try to dig into this a little more in the days

  Ok here’s the scoop.
  
  ! use Chrome…it works the best for me.
  
  2 It the upper left hand corner you will see a padlock at the front of the url box.
  left click.
  
  3 You will get a pop up. last thing on tthe menu is site settings. left click.
  
  4 Scroll down to Flash..set it for ask or allow. That should fix your problem.

  Hi Jolly Jelly & fbn. I use Edge and you can find it in Settings. It kind of doesn’t matter now, all of the old games that required Flash are gone now. I would just stay away from using Adobe Flash Player completely. It really isn’t safe. I hope you both can find some new games you like.😊

Hi Jollyjelly, the update must have turned off Adobe Flash. Microsoft does not consider Adobe Flash safe, so they give you the option of turning it off or on. If you turn it back on just use it for the games, best not to use it when you are just browsing. Hope this helps.

@jollyjelly, it may not have been the Microsoft update. It was probably when they released these new games or thereabouts. I use a Chromebook which has a Chrome OS not Microsoft and my Flip Out game is all messed up. And many other players cannot play Flip Out either….shows “images coming soon rather than the correct pictures…and then freezes on the 3rd or 4th round. And it seemed to start when the new games were released. Seems when they release new games, they mess other things up and takes a long time to get it straightened out. I have an email in to the tech team but will try to send it through the customer service forum and see if the other customer service agent actually got it to them. Try to send your request to the customer service forum. Maybe if enough of us do they might see that there are problems! Make sure to put in your post what is happening to your game.

What browser are you using JJ?
