I cannot even imagine the mathematical possibilities that were in place for Lulu_1 to have won two prizes on 2/11/21.
How are the names chosen??
This is from someone who has entered games every week for decades and won twice. Decades..twice. And I have nearly 1 million points.
This is actually happening with some frequency: the same winner. I started taking screen shots in Oct 2020 because I kept seeing double-winners. I think there is likely a problem with their algorithm because given the thousands that play and enter, the odds are ridiculously low that repeatedly we’d have the same person winning back-to-back. Let me look some of them up:
Gingerbread13 won twice the week of Nov 5, 2020
Lulu1 won twice the week of Feb 11, 21
Samira won the week of Nov 12, 2020 and Oct 15, 2020
drae305 won Oct 15, 2020 and just this week as well
There are more, but try to calculate the number of people entering, the number of games, and the number of entries, and that you get repeated winners happening more than, say once per year, but about every month, and even in the same week?! Wow!
I know, there must be thousands of entries so how did Lulu_1 win twice when everyone is limited to 10 entries.
HSN really needs to answer this for once — HOW ARE NAMES CHOSEN?
