TIME FOR TRIVIA
Hope you are all ready for some fun. For the newcomers, the questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade. Questions begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm EST. depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Also, join us in light conversation, ideas or whatever and LET THE FUN BEGIN…. 🙂💖

I will reiterate here rather at the end of the games. If any of you are feeling blue, or lonely, or just want to say Hello, or want to know how we are, please, use this thread to reach out. The trivia staff needs to check their questions and answers more thoroughly. Truman was elected president the first time in 1948. Franklin Roosevelt was president in 1942. Sigh..

If you do not use a meat thermometer, another way you can tell if the turkey is done is if the wing is loose. By the way I also roast the turkey belly side down for about two hours and then turn it over and let it cook about another hour and a half to two hours. Oven temp is 400 degrees. Yes, you can put your herbs on just the way you would normally and add the stuffing as well before cooking. But, by cooking it this way it saves alot of time and both sides are crisp and delicious. Hardest part of course is turning the bird over.

Sam I use prongs (if that’s what they are called) to turn the turkey over. They are large and come as a pair. I usually put one on each side and turn it over. Not an easy feat, but can be done or you can use two mitts and turn that way. Once you turn it over it is easy to move to the center of the pan. Mine sits on a rack so that it doesn’t pick up the fat at the bottom of the pan (becomes too greasy).
