FRIDAY NIGHT TRIVIA, MARCH 5, 2021
It’s now nearing that 8:00 pm hour. Hmm.. it’s Friday night…… Time for Trivia
Hope you are all ready for some fun. For the newcomers, the questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade. Questions begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm EST. depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Also, join us in light conversation, ideas or whatever and LET THE FUN BEGIN…. 🙂💖

@oodiebom and all Trivia Players Good Evening all. 😎
-
Good evening everyone!!!
-
Hi Melch. Great to see you this week. I’m trying to send some warmth to NYC.
-
Good Evening in New York City I am sure you can’t wait for Broadway to open up. 😎
-
Hoping more than Broadway opens up. I was driving in the city today and it is so empty and sad. Many stores are closed. Waiting for the weather to warm up.The wind chill factor is low and very cold.
-
Many of our theaters have started doing their programs virtually. Tomorrow night is an Opera. It should be like being part of the audience in that there are costumes, makeup, scenery, orchestra, etc..

An excerpt from “Better Homes & Gardens”, Women’s History Month
“Two years after the Women’s History Week celebration in California, President Jimmy Carter proclaimed a National Women’s History Week during the week of March 8, 1980. When he announced the proclamation, he said, “Too often the women were unsung and sometimes their contributions went unnoticed. But the achievements, leadership, courage, strength, and love of the women who built America were as vital as that of the men whose names we know so well.”
On March 12, 1987, Congress passed legislation designating the month of March 1987 as Women’s History Month.
“As communities around the country adopted Women’s History Week celebrations, many areas found that one week just wasn’t enough. By 1986, fourteen states had declared their own month-long celebrations of women’s history, and in 1987 the National Women’s History Project (now known as the National Women’s History Alliance) asked Congress to declare an official Women’s History Month. On March 12, 1987, Congress passed legislation designating the month of March 1987 as Women’s History Month. Between 1988 and 1994, Congress also passed resolutions authorizing future presidents to proclaim the month of March as Women’s History Month. Since this legislation was passed, every president has issued an annual proclamation for the month of March.”
