FRIDAY NIGHT TRIVIA, MARCH 5, 2021
It’s now nearing that 8:00 pm hour. Hmm.. it’s Friday night…… Time for Trivia
Hope you are all ready for some fun. For the newcomers, the questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade. Questions begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm EST. depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Also, join us in light conversation, ideas or whatever and LET THE FUN BEGIN…. 🙂💖

An excerpt from “Better Homes & Gardens”, Women’s History Month
“Two years after the Women’s History Week celebration in California, President Jimmy Carter proclaimed a National Women’s History Week during the week of March 8, 1980. When he announced the proclamation, he said, “Too often the women were unsung and sometimes their contributions went unnoticed. But the achievements, leadership, courage, strength, and love of the women who built America were as vital as that of the men whose names we know so well.”
On March 12, 1987, Congress passed legislation designating the month of March 1987 as Women’s History Month.
“As communities around the country adopted Women’s History Week celebrations, many areas found that one week just wasn’t enough. By 1986, fourteen states had declared their own month-long celebrations of women’s history, and in 1987 the National Women’s History Project (now known as the National Women’s History Alliance) asked Congress to declare an official Women’s History Month. On March 12, 1987, Congress passed legislation designating the month of March 1987 as Women’s History Month. Between 1988 and 1994, Congress also passed resolutions authorizing future presidents to proclaim the month of March as Women’s History Month. Since this legislation was passed, every president has issued an annual proclamation for the month of March.”

@oodiebom and all Trivia Players Good Evening all. 😎

Good evening everyone!!!

Good Evening in New York City I am sure you can’t wait for Broadway to open up. 😎
-
Hoping more than Broadway opens up. I was driving in the city today and it is so empty and sad. Many stores are closed. Waiting for the weather to warm up.The wind chill factor is low and very cold.
-
Many of our theaters have started doing their programs virtually. Tomorrow night is an Opera. It should be like being part of the audience in that there are costumes, makeup, scenery, orchestra, etc..
-
Hi Melch. Great to see you this week. I’m trying to send some warmth to NYC.
-

There has to be a computer glitch with HSN. Could not post Trivia for over 45 minutes. Kept asking if I wanted to start a new something or other. Then everything went down. Hopefully, everything will work from this time on.
-
Thanks for your effort. I know that must have been frustrating.

I just got an email from MN DEPT OF HEALTH to schedule my COV19 vaccine. Who knew Government workers worked so late.

Hi Sanibel. Good evening. I’m still waiting for an appointment. Oh well. Thanks for posting in Customer Service. Not sure if we will receive an answer. Let’s see what happens in a few minutes.

Seems there is a computer glitch or the “needle” on the machine went off. Seems like the same question is playing over and over again. I will check in a few seconds if things do not change.
-
Where is Trivia #2?
-
Same here, just keeps asking the same question and saying I already answered it.
-
Hi Myra. Great to see you here. Trying to work on the questions.
-
OODIEBOM, you are the best, love & hugs to you!
-
I posted it on CS thread. Don’t know if it’ll do any good.
-
I am online with customer service. OK, they could only send a note to the IT department. Let’s see if anyone is listening and if not, we can either call it a night or have some fun with our own trivia questions. Or conversation. Whatever your pleasure.

Good evening everyone, ready or not here we go.

Whoo-hoo! Yippee! (I am watching a western) 🤠 I can really use that gift card right now.
Yes, it is me, and I use Rosatown as a nickname for game playing–seems to fit the Western theme I have going today, lol.
-
I am so happy for you when I saw the name I thought I made a mistake.
You go girl! 😎🌹💕

Congratulations! What a great way to end the week.
