FRIDAY NIGHT TRIVIA, MARCH 25, 2022
The questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade. Questions begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm DST depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Also, join us in light conversation, ideas or whatever and LET THE FUN BEGIN…. 🙂

“No trivia question available?” Not even the baseball question? Oh well, at least we had 400 points available. Sigh. Oh my, remember the good old days when we got extra points for playing the Game of the Week — a full roster of questions, etc., etc., etc.
-
Those were the good ole days. 😜😜✨
-
-
At least they didn’t post spring training
-
And we don’t have to watch TV as there is no answer button

No trivia question…

Good evening obedjudge. For some reason, whenever I see your name I remember “Laugh In.” You always make me smile.
-
“Obedjudge” is because when I was younger I showed in AKC Obedience Trials and after several years of preparation and meeting the rigorous requirements was approved to Judge Dog Obedience at American Kennel Club shows. It was a long road but worth every bit of it. I met many people from all over this huge country and was able to get to many places I never would have seen otherwise. The dogs were all wonderful and judging all of these wonderful, obedient animals was a joy to behold. Seeing trained dogs so in tune with their handlers is a wonderful experience. I also enjoyed the training of my own lovely little canines. I ended my “doggy” career by showing and breeding Papillons, the court dogs of King Louis XIV of France. I’m now down to just one little 12 year old girl and not showing, breeding or exhibiting any longer. At the age of 84 it’s a little too much for me but I’ll never change my email “handle”.
-
What a beautiful story obedjudge. When I was younger, always enjoyed watching the judging on TV. Those dogs were so well trained. Ok, some did not enjoy grooming, but getting out there and strutting was something to enjoy. You had a great and wonderful career.
-
Obedience competition is very different from what you saw. Obedience will require dogs working with their handlers and also working at a distance, sometimes with no verbal commands from the handler, only a hand cue as to what the dog should do next. One exercise is scent discrimination where the dog must pick up an article with its handlers scent instead of one of several the judge has scented! Lots more but my left hand is compromised and I’m having trouble typing tonight.
