OODIEBOM, last week a gell fell asleep on the couch. I was tired, I had cooked that day and transplanted some of my plants from small vase to large ones.
The week before last, I simply forget it was Friday. I couldn’t believe I had forgot.

Sheba, she looked and between here and Heidi’s side, she has her heart set on one necklace. She cleaned house with the midnight madness and all I can say…..way to go. Got items for $40 and now are $149. She wanted to get the paw, but that was gone. I am sure, once she see’s a sale item here from her wishlist or there, she will go to town. Where is my wallet?…….Never mind🤣

Aw shucks, John508. Thanks. It really seems like yesterday when we walked down that long aisle. It’s been a wild ride thus far with some ups and downs.

Yes, you are so right! Time flies and we grow with the ups and downs. Once the children are out of the house, then many will see, what marriage is about. My wife always says “by the grace of God”.😊

As bad as this virus has been, when you look back, you begin to realize how close and how dear everyone has become. Some very good things happened along with the not so great. But in reality we are beginning to see the light at that very long tunnel.

RosaTowwen, who would have thought on the day we were married that we would be celebrating the big 50. Who ever looks that far down the road. All you are hoping is that the celebration would continue everyday.

I thought the same (though we just made it to 25 years before I lost him to cancer). It sure didn’t seem that long and yet I couldn’t really remember my life without him in it. As an outside observer, it would seem that the celebration has continued because you have such a lovely attitude towards life–and the people you touch here. 💖

Aw Rosa, wish you could see my blush. Thank you. This is the way I am and have been all my life. Life is too short to dwell on the bad when there is so much beauty in everything around us. I am positive we have all had some real ups and downs in life and as Sheba would say, God never gives us more than we can chew. Sometimes we need to experience things before we are better people. That way, if we can, we can help others facing the same path.

That is very wise, and to you and Sheba, I would add something my father used to say:
“God never gives us more than we can handle–I just wish he didn’t think so highly of me.”

My heart goes out to you. We lost a very good friend and sister-in-law to cancer last year. Oddiebom has it right, a positive attitude is the best , enjoy each day as it is a precious gift!

Actually, I need to replace the television in my bedroom so I’ll probably go for that when I decide what size and model. I got the fancy big one for the living room last summer and it is a truly wonderful treat for my old eyes. The one in my bedroom is an old fashioned crt 19 inch–not even digital–I use a converter box with it. Since I don’t have cable or satellite or anything, I just use streaming services (Netflix and Prime), so I want something on which to view those. It’s long overdue, but I had other priorities.

John, last week the first question was asked throughout the evening. I think there was one other question which is the one everyone is complaining about. Not really an issue, but a statement that should be handled through either the customer service thread or those who are part of the A Team. It will be my responsibility to see that it does not happen again, and for those who run the Arcade area to learn to listen with both ears not just the computer.

You are admirable for doing all this , not only for yourself, but for all the arcade players! You have my full respect, Lady !

You still have my respect for being so helpful and doing this. My wife loved the conversations in the past and I see now why!
