It’s now nearing that 8:00 pm hour. Hmm.. it’s Friday night…… Time for Trivia
Hope you are all ready for some fun. For the newcomers, the questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade. Questions begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm EST. depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Also, join us in light conversation, ideas or whatever and LET THE FUN BEGIN…. 🙂💖

Got my first COVID19 vaccine this am. So far so good. I wanted to make sure I got the Pfizer or Moderna, because they have higher percentage of effectiveness-95% and 94% respectively. The J&J is only 66%, according to the info on Mayo Clinic website. I also verified with my clinic’s Nurse COVID19 nurse appointment.

Hi Sanibel. Congrats on the vaccine. We have yet to be notified. You are correct on the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines. However, Mayo should be updated on the Johnson one. It has been found that after two weeks it is 88% effective. However, in Florida, the two doses are compulsory. Not sure if the Johnson one is coming here anytime soon.

There is another vaccine the FDA is considering, AstraZeneca. Although, I heard on the radio that several people inoculated have developed blood clots.
I was so nervous going to the appointment I put a boot (it was snowing here this morning) on one foot and had a croc on the other. I didn’t notice until I arrived at the hospital and got out of my vehicle. Everyone there just ignored me. 🤪

There is so much to celebrate this week! Lots of people were chatting and sharing (and trying to participate in trivia). Some are celebrating 50 years of marriage and some are near to doing so. Some have gotten their first vaccine and others are looking forward to getting one very soon. I appreciate the love and good will shared tonight and each week here in trivia-land.

Another evening has come to an end. Even though the same question lasted for two hours, there was some laughter among us. Tomorrow night we will set our clocks ahead because it’s spring and it will give us more time to be outdoors. I just hope that you will have sunny days with warmth. Also, Happy St. Paddy’s Day to all who celebrate. Please, wear your masks when you are out and about, practice social distancing, and keep your hands clean. Happy Happy Anniversary Odiebom! We will celebrating our 50th next year! Can’t wait…I have all my Jewelry stores listed with their wish lists for my hubby! Oh and condos in Maui….hint hint. Wishful thinking but its fun. Love all the chit chat with the “regulars”.

Hi MzKatz. Missed you, but know that you are quite busy. Thank you so much on your wishes. We will not be celebrating this time but will wait for better days. We learned early on that being together no matter what is all that is needed. Last year at this time we both had Covid and it was during a two week cruise. We stayed away from people and the ship’s doctor. Never was able to see the ports except from our balcony. Hopefully the four of us will be in good health next year and we can celebrate not only our anniversaries but a new beginning after what we had in the past. Stay well. Stay safe.

Hi all! I never talk here, but enjoy the chatter and good thoughts shared here. Have a couple of questions. Today is the second time I have been one of “today’s special value” puzzle. I have received no notification of winning either time. I contacted customer service about the first win. No response to the first. What can I do? Also, what is the prize for that? Thanks for helping!

Gabi47202, if you win the jigsaw puzzle, I believe the award is $250 kash to use as you so wish. I have found that if you post a question in the customer service thread within community, you will get a response. I suggest you give that area a try. Also, people have said that when they win they receive something in their e-mail. I still say, contact customer service here in community. Let me know what happens by writing in this thread.

happydragon, we are trying. I overslept this morning. I was supposed to be on the computer at 6
am this morning to make the appointments for next week. I awoke at 8 am and tried, but they were already booked. I am not an early riser since I am a night person. Hopefully, Florida will get the amount of vaccines next week that are needed. -
I’m in Colorado. UCHealth is my provider. They automatically put me on the list and emailed me when it was my time to schedule. I was sent an email this past Monday. Appointment on Friday. Super easy. I feel very fortunate.

The following is my question this evening to customer service and the reply I received from Angela.
The question pertaining to which sport is used in spring training was again replayed tonight. Those that answered the question from last week were given 0 points with the correct response. I agree with the players that points should be given when answered correctly no matter when the question comes up. It is also not right to keep asking the same one over and over again. It is also not good customer service not to hear from the Arcade people as to what is going on with the games as well as Trivia. The lack of communication does not help with the situation.
