Good Evening to you and all that play the Trivia Game. I have been playing a very
long time back in the day when Trekky did the Game. 🙂We are warm in OZ tonight but not too bad. How are you?
Wishing you a good evening. 🙂
-
Good Evening Sheba and FBN. I also started playing trivia with Trekky. I also wonder how she is doing since I haven’t seen her in Community. She did an awesome job.
-
Yes, Trekky did an amazing job just like you do. Oodie everyone have their own style.
I like both of you. 🙂 I too have wondered how she is doing and I hope she is doing well.Shout out to Trekky.
-
You made me blush Sheb. Last I heard or read anything from Trekky was when she had to give here bird up for health issues. I just hope she is feeling better and is enjoying her life more.
-
I second that “Shout out to Trekky” and thank you oodiebom for tonight as usual;^)
-
Hi there ddshoppy. So glad to see you this evening.
-
-
Hi oodiebom & Sheba
-
Good Evening and it is good to see you. 🙂
-
Up UP And Away FBN. That sure looks like tons of fun.
-
I would love to try doing that!
-
Me too velvet…lol

I am in Ma. this weekend. Guess I have to admit that I saw my first ever Tornado and I hope I never see one again. We have had hurricanes, but nothing like this.
-
I hate to say it but welcome to OZ. This is our weather at certain times of the year.
This is OZ!
-
We had warnings about a half hour prior. I had a hair appointment and as we approached the business area, the sky west of us was dark. There was absolutely no shelf in any other direction. Hubby dropped me off and I waited inside by the window. Within minutes the wind picked up, the front door blew opened and then closed. Saw dumpsters being moved. Real strong winds, the likes I have never seen. But, again, there was no shelf. So, I thought it was just a bad storm. Hubby picked me up. There were wires and trees down everywhere. No electricity for 24 hours. There are still some without. It lasted for five minutes and then all was quiet, though the rain remained for a little while longer. There was absolutely no thunder or lightning. Just wind that was clocked at 110 mph.
-
WE deal with that all the time in OZ. I don’t wish it on anyone. I am just glad you and hubby
are safe. -
We are both safe. No damage at our place. Just a few branches in our backyard. Count ourselves quite lucky.

Good Evening OODIEBOM, Sheba, fbn135.
-
Missed you the last couple of weeks. Hope you had a chance to play.
-
Have not played much, been in Jacksonville. And now I am frying my brains trying to do a write up and the house.
-
Are you leaving Orlando????
-
Good Evening been a while. Always good to see you. I wonder if Pipman is driving home now.
-
Hi Sheba! Got home early so I don’t have to text-and-drive.

Hello all ..🙆
-
-
Hello!
Actually got home “early”. Icky hot here in Los Angeles along with some humidity, that we are not used to. Bleck!
-
Good Evening! Have fun tonight. 🙂
-
Thank you!
-
Hi Pipman. We will be under the gun again next week with temps in the high 90s with humidity that will start coming in tomorrow.
-
Our summer and heat arrive much later now than they used to. Even Thanksgiving time it can be hot. When the heat came…it came on like crazy.
-
We, in New England, can sympathize with you. The heat and humidity used to be a couple of weeks in July and maybe one week in August. Now, we get a couple of days with windows opened and then it starts all over again. I am not one who can take the heat and humidity at the same time.

Keep your purse close just grab and run….

Samslilangel, I pray you are doing OK. I am thinking about you.❤

I’m hoping her daughter is with her. I don’t like that she is alone at this time. Thanks for thinking of her Velve. I’m sure she will read this when she has a chance.

@ OODIEBOM, No, not leaving the Orlando area. Selling the Jacksonville house, which it breaks my heart to do it. It’s minutes from Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach and Jax Beach.
-
Did you ever think about renting it???? Just a thought. It may be worth holding on to in case you ever want to return to the beach areas along the Atlantic coastline.
-
Not in the cards, we sold two rentals in 2017. Now we don’t want to go back into the landlord business. When hubby retires in about 5 years we want to move into a 55 community.
By the way, I am glad you are alright, was reading what happen to you and the tornado. We been having some major down pour here, and the wind gusts but nothing like that.
-
Before you go into a 55 and over community, please check it out. Some are not that great. If you have an opportunity, see if you can rent there first before making a final decision. You may like owning your own home with all age groups. You have time, so look around.
-
Forgot to mention that if you buy a double wide, make sure you also own the land. Too many contractors are buying properties where you rent the land. When you own, you have more of a say as to what goes on.
-
Oh yes that is correct, we always buy single family and will stick with that.
-
Thank You, we will do lots of research as you know Florida has lots. Some not so great as you said, I read the other day that a couple had tp leave their home in the Villages do to a sink hole.
-
Oops….That was one place I felt would be all right. However, not in love with the price tags on their homes. We will be looking around on the West coast when we return. Have seen some pictures from our agent, but nothing has stood out yet.
