FRIDAY NIGHT TRIVIA, JANUARY22, 2021
It’s nearing that 8:00 pm hour. Hmm.. it’s Friday night…… Then it’s GAME TIME—-YEAH !!!! IT’S TRIVIA TIME !!!
Hope you are all ready for some fun. For the newcomers, the questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade. Questions begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm EST. depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Also, join us in light conversation, ideas or whatever and LET THE FUN BEGIN…. 🙂💖

Good Evening everyone. Hoping this Friday finds everyone well.
Oodiebom, I hope you had a wonderful Birthday.-
Hi Xango. I had a wonderful birthday. Just did some marketing at the Farmer’s Market and Aldi’s. My birthday present is on it’s way, or rather will be, in a few days. Hope you had a nice week. I am also hoping that Sami and Rosatowwen is OK. I know we don’t hear from Pipman, but, on another note have not seen is meme in sometime. Hope everything is Ok with him as well.

Hi Sheba.
-
Good evening, beautiful sunset and now a Glas of wine!🍷

The whole web site here has changed on my pad. The Arcade is different, and only half of page for playing the games, so the games are tiny to see. The pull down to go back and forth from Arcade to the community is no more.
-
If you have three dots above the page on the right either diagonal or verticle try mousing on it. If you see desktop, mouse on that. It should make the area readable.
-
Got it, thank you.
-
Xango, was that the answer??
-
Unfortunately not. My pad didn’t have the three dots. My husband just switched to theater mode, but that I already knew how to do. And it doesn’t bring back to the size fitting the entire page as before. I was just playing last night and everything was fine. Today it all changed. And some of the Mahjongg Freezes up, and that didn’t happen before.

Thank you. That was a tough one and my wife had family in Australia.😊
-
Hi John. Welcome back. Hope your wife is feeling better. You both were missed. Nothing like having family to make you feel better.
-
Thank you for asking, they have to look at it again. Now the virus is up there again and she has to wait. You are all very pleasant to hang out with on a rainy Friday night!
-
We are in the 60s tonight. No rain. We will get the cloudy skies tomorrow with temps in the 70s.

Good evening

-
@melch77 and @bootcrazy,
Good evening girls. 😎
-
hi 🙂 is Flip Out working for ya’ll ??
-
Oh, bootcrazy, that isn’t one of the games I play. Maybe someone here can answer your question.
-
I tried to play and it just fizzles in the middle of it, so I gave up. The same thing happened when it was game of the week a few months ago.
-
Boot, I just remembered that this game was the game of the week about three weeks ago. There were problems with the game in that it didn’t finish or just stopped dead. I surmise the repair work has not been done. You may wish to contact customer service in Community to report what has been happening. It will help.

-
Good evening to all you trivia players! I hope y’all are doing well. 🙂
-
Rosa, are you OK???? Missed you the last few weeks.
-
Yes, I’m doing fine. I just tweaked my knee moving things around in the living room where my computer is. I am hobbling around with a cane at the moment, healing slowly and not going to the doctor. I couldn’t finish setting up my desktop, lost the power connection to the computer and don’t have a laptop or tablet. I’m connected again, thank goodness. 🙂
-
I understand you had a birthday recently, Oodiebom, so Happy Belated Birthday! 💖 🎈 🎂 I hope it’s a nice birthday month for you. (No reason to try to fit everything into a 1 day celebration) These days, surviving another year is no small thing.
-
Rosa thank you for the birthday wishes. It would be more fun if we could have celebrated in some way. You are absolutely right. Probably will do something when this pandemic is over and all of us can kick up our heels or the vehicle to go wherever. It will be a celebration not to be missed.
-
I’m sure you can make it one worth waiting for. The older we get, I think the easier it is to delay gratification, to be patient for the right time to do what we really want.
-
Rosa, as a backup I use my Kindle. Can even play the Arcade on it as well as type. Sometimes I think it’s faster than this computer.
-
I’m so glad to hear the Arcade plays well on the Kindle. My brother gave me a gift certificate for Christmas and I immediately knew I would use it to get a Kindle this year–so looking forward to a tablet! I really need a ten inch because my eyes aren’t that good any more, so I am waiting for it to go on sale at HSN or QVC. They have the better prices and also include the personalized case. 😀
-
Rosa, it is on sale on Amazon. You should take a look there as well. They stand behind their products and it is also free shipping even if you are not a Prime member.
-
It just so happens that I am a Prime member, and therefore all the music cds that I bought for my husband and daughter and other family members–that music can populate my Kindle since those purchases were on my account. I have been looking forward to a Kindle for a very long time. My husband had one and loved it. I never touched his–it was a 7 inch, but he didn’t have the same eyesight problem. I need glasses for things up close, and he always took off his glasses to better see his Kindle. He was an avid reader of lots of things: biographies, history, anything related to comedians, and also philosophy. He also loved music, so I will have lots of soundtracks, Celtic, and even some classical to put on my Kindle. I gave his Kindle to his daughter when he passed away–next week it will be 6 years. I have been reflecting that I would have been extremely worried for him in this pandemic, as he was a cancer survivor twice over and probably quite fragile to fight this disease that has claimed so many lives–unbelievable how many lives.
-
Rosa, you can enlarge the print on the Kindle by using two fingers and moving the fonts upward. It enlarges the letters. It will go back to normal by just tapping either the center of the page or over to the right near the edge. I’m still wide awake so will take my pills and continue the jigsaw I started earlier. Those are fun. By the way, I use glasses all the time, however, I need to take them off for the Kindle.
-
That is such a spectacular greeting–thank you! ❣️
-
Rosatowwen, gland to see you here , you were missed.
-
That’s very sweet, thank you.
