FRIDAY NIGHT TRIVIA, JANUARY 29, 2021.
it’s nearing that 8:00 pm hour. Hmm.. it’s Friday night…… Then it’s GAME TIME—-YEAH !!!! IT’S TRIVIA TIME !!!😎😎
Hope you are all ready for some fun. For the newcomers, the questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade. Questions begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm EST. depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Also, join us in light conversation, ideas or whatever and LET THE FUN BEGIN…. 🙂💖

Hey everyone! I’m expecting a snow and high winds tonight thru tomorrow. Chicago is possibly getting a foot of snow from this one! Yikes pray for all 😇🙏🏻-
Hi Sami. Heard about the snow and it will hit the Northeast also but not until Monday. Do not go out. I don’t want to hear any thumps……..
-
-
Hi, guys, thanks for the answer! Hope everyone is ok this evening 😀
-
Sorry all, I couldn’t resist after seeing Sheba’s snowman.
Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
and two eyes made out of coal
Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale they say
He was made of snow but the children
know how he came to life one day
There must have been some magic in that
old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his head
he began to dance around
O
Frosty the snowman
was alive as he could be
And the children say he could laugh
and play just the same as you and me
Thumpetty thump thump
thumpety thump thump
Look at Frosty go
Thumpetty thump thump
thumpety thump thump
Over the hills of snowFrosty the snowman knew
the sun was hot that day
So he said
“Let’s run and
we’ll have some fun
now before I melt away
” Down to the village
with a broomstick in his hand
Running here and there all
around the square saying
Catch me if you can
He led them down the streets of town
right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment when
he heard him holler “Stop!”
For Frosty the snow man
had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye saying
“Don’t you cry
I’ll be back again some day
” Thumpetty thump thump
thumpety thump thump
Look at Frosty go
Thumpetty thump thump
thumpety thump thump
Over the hills of snow -
Sounds like Frosty picked the perfect week to come back to town, lol.. Though it’s much colder where most of you are, it’s even cold at the beaches, even in Florida and California. There was hail in Manhattan Beach this afternoon–right on the beach, at surf’s edge!
-
Thank you, that made my day!🤣
-
Good evening John. Hope you and yours are warm and toasty.
-
We are warm inside the house. Two days ago 78 and then straight down to the low 50’s. Overnight freezing, making makeshift house for lost kittens!
-
I wish I could take two of them. Where we live, no animals of any kind. Not even goldfish. I’m not kidding on the goldfish. However, a doctor’s note will do. If it’s get any colder, I would bring them inside.
-
Sorry, forgot to tell you, they are taking care off. Bought a heater for animals outside and even heating blankets. Paws was helpful and we did find some homes for some. We lost three inside the house and then my wife’s favorite disappeared. He most likely walked inside someone’s house. He was fixed and has a chip.
-
Happy that you found homes for some. I am an animal lover. My last cat was a stray and also tested posted for HIV in felines. He was not expected to live long, but I had him for 12 beautiful years. Best part, a talker. Hated when husband drove the car and had to make stops for traffic lights and stop signs. He loved the drive, but not the stops. Became a mad cat to let you know. Ask a question, Meowed the answer. Also took in next door neighbor’s cat which loved to climb to the roof of our home. He also brought more laughs. Miss them both. However, now I would not mind a dog and a few cats. May take a look around when we get to New England. Will probably use ASPCA or someone who is fostering.
-
We love talkers and we always say, they become somewhat human once in our home. We had one, who knew exactly how much half a biscuit was and wouldn’t leave me alone till she got it. She left us after 19 years. Your cat was blessed finding you and with love, lived a longer life. Thank you for caring. We often forget that God put us on this earth to take care of the planet. These animals were here first. What a softy I became in my later years!😹
-
We have a small orange one and she is small for her age. She made friends with a fluffy male and no tail female to stay warm. We had help with paws to catch them and get them fixed. You would love the runt, she has such a sweet face. I always loved dogs, but my wife got me to love these felines with attitude!🤣

Hi xango. Hope you are warm and cozy.
-
Hi Oodiebom , Trying to keep warm. Had to cover my plants yesterday and today. I hope Spring weather is around the corner soon.
-
Don’t hold your breath too long xango. More of the same next week.
-
-
@oodiebom and all Trivia Players Good Evening. 😎 Very cold in OZ. Stay warm all.
-
Love this little smiling guy! He looks like he is staying warm in OZ tonight!
-
-
Good evening, always enjoy your pictures!😊
-
-
Thank you, made some warm tea to keep us warm!😊
-
Here you go enjoy.
-
Didn’t see that, just now. Thank you and have a blessed evening. Good night.😴
-
❤️ Yes, thank you and I hope you are all right.
-
Good evening RosaTowwen. Hope you had a great week.
-
Yes, my week turned out just fine. I have discovered that a heating pad is helping my bad knee–more even than aspirin, which is real good news as I don’t like to take anything unless I absolutely have to. Go figure. 😀
-
I’m the same way Rosa. Another thing that helps is a whirlpool bath. We do not have one of those, but maybe someday. Of course swimming is good if the ocean is warm. Then there is always a pool. Some hotels have a membership fee to use their pool.
-
Hi Sheba. Frosty is adorable. Love it……..
-
Thank you. 😘

-
Good evening Oodiebom & all trivia players.
Good Omega 3 advice.
-
Hi Sanibel. I knew the Omega’s were good for you, but was surprised that it helped with the pandemic in that if you got the Covid, either you got a milder case or you remained home feeling awful.
-
-
There is always a good time to start taking Omega 3s and that time may be now. Read on MSN news this morning that those taking Omega 3 vitamins and eating fish containing Omega 3s seem to be getting milder cases of Covid. Those who have shown little or no Omega 3s have been the ones most hospitalized. I am not advocating this vitamin but just saying you might find this an interesting read in MSN news.
-
Good evening oodie and all trivia players. My oldest son, his wife & son all have Covid. The two adults are very sick, high fever, chills and sweats. The 17 year old has a mild cough. I will tell them about the Omega 3’s. They take Andrew Lessman’s vitamins as well as I. I do have the Omega 3’s here and will do a door drop-off if they will take them. He says it’s the most awful sickness they have ever experienced!

Gabbie I can attest to this disease. Started feeling not so good day we were embarking on a cruise. Hubby got it the next day. It’s no fun. The best thing they can do is to sleep on their stomachs. It makes breathing easier and helps the lungs. They should try to stay as hydrated as they can and also not to stay in bed all day. Must walk around, even in a small room. Do calisthenics if they can, but not to overdo it. Shortness of breath is a symptom as well as what you described. Hot soup, any kind, helps. It’s what we lived on while sailing. Also tea, lemonade, ice cream (hubby downed that), etc.. It lasts about 10 days from start to finish in that they can move around more with some aches and pains.
-
I don’t think it was a good cruise for you both and I hope you are both doing much better now! I did a door drop-off yesterday with lots of chicken broth to make soup, food and gator aid. They are drinking lots of liquids It is now day 7 for them. They both said that they are sleeping a lot and are very weak. Wish I could do more. I will relay your advice on stomach sleeping and mild exercise. Thanks for the advice!
-
Gabbie, it will be awhile before they regain strength and energy. Tell them to not to overdo it. However I cannot stress enough the importance of getting out of bed and walking around or doing calisthenics. They need to exercise but not to overdo it. Also changing clothes daily and washing them is important and to spray the room with a disinfectant also helps. Thorough cleansing of house following will need to be done as well so as not to get it again. If they are in warm climate, also helps to go outside in their backyard for a few minutes. Chills and fever stay with you even after you are better. I had the fever for a month. Not every day. One day normal the next day spiked a fever of 101. something or it could be 102.4. All part of this disease. I am OK now. Energy level is up and that’s a good thing.
-
So glad you are feeling better now! I will let them know everything that you said and what to expect in the days ahead! I did give them Lysol spray and they have wipes which they have been using. I doubt if I will be going to their home anytime soon other then door drop-offs! Thank you for all your advice, much appreciated from someone who experienced this virusl
-
Gabbie,
I have three family members with Covid-19 I hope everyone get well soon.
-
So sorry to hear that, will pray for them.🙏
-
Thank you Sheba, I hope your family member get well soon also! It’s a terrible virus! We will be getting the vaccine when it becomes available. 2020 was a very bad year for everyone and I am praying 2021 will be a better year for all

It’s really cold and windy here too, just bitter. There’s 2 snow storms coming, one Sunday all day and one Monday into Tuesday. Ugh
-
-
And Velve, this is one time I can yell—–IT’S NOT MY FAULT……Though the temps in Florida are in the low 40s at night, it feels like low 20s in New England. We are wrapped in our furries tonight as we did last night.
-
Same here, my friend…
-
Good Evening FBN. Love your gif. It’s cold in Florida also. Temp was in the mid 40s last night and the day today was never out of the 50s. More the same expected tomorrow. Sunday a warming trend and rain. Cooler temps following the rest of the week. Winter is still with us here, at least for a bit. Brrrr…….😜
-
Thanks OODIE…It’s 12 here right now…lol
-
-
Oh my goodness! I can’t even imagine!
