FRIDAY NIGHT TRIVIA, GIFS, CONVERSATION, JOKES June 18, 2021
Good Evening. I know some of us are now facing high temperatures with triple digits. Many with high humidity as well. Last year, during the pandemic, I remained in Florida for the first time during the summer. Being from the Northeast, we love the cold. So our temps would be in the low to mid 60s during the day and stay the same or go lower at night. Little did I realize we could not do this in Florida. Electricity during the summer and into the fall months are extremely high. Most people here have A/C throughout their home. Well, keeping the air in what I like or rather was used to would not work in Florida. So, to offset electrical bills that would be over $200++/mo., I raised the temp to 78 during the day and brought it down to 75 at night. Believe it or not, the house has felt cool all this time. I also use the overhead fans during the day when necessary to circulate the air which uses less electricity than A/C. My electric bill was only two figures and no where near $100. Just saying you may want to try it. Now, I know you are ready for game night.

Questions begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm EST. depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Whoo-hoo! We actually got a couple of new trivia questions today. I think it means they haven’t forgotten about us totally, and that maybe changes are in the works for the Arcade.

You should receive them by tomorrow, definitely by Monday. Here is a scenario for all of you. I need fabric softener to finish the laundry before leaving. Hubby and I just didn’t feel like going out. So, I checked Walmart and I said delivery. Oh, I ordered 3 items. One out of the 3 was delivered days ago. The fabric softener was delivered yesterday by UPS. He delivered it to a mailbox. There isn’t any mailbox here. We have a mailroom with slots. So hubby and I took a ride because it is over a mile from our home. There were no notes and the package was nowhere to be found. So, then I looked at the time it was delivered which also corresponded with the time it was our mailman usually arrives. So I thought it went back to the post office and they would deliver it today. Just checked—–Nothing. Luckily, I ordered another from Another company and it was on my doorstep early this morning. Go figure…….

I have been ordering from Walmart since my car stopped working in November. Free delivery, as I purchase more than $35 at a time. The delivery for the most part has been very fast, though there have been a few hiccups. I live in a house, residential neighborhood, so delivery is easy. They have delivered through UPS, USPS, and other, direct means. When those hiccups happen, I email Walmart and their response–through chat–included a phone contact, where I could resolve the issue. They checked tracking and refunded the purchase, so I continue to use them. I have gotten all kinds of things this year on my doorstep, including salsa, apple butter, chocolate, canned goods, brownie mix, rice, mulch, pavers, and a rose bush.
Their prices are very competitive, and I discovered it at the perfect time. The only thing that ever disappeared was a bag of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups–so, for me the delivery person was the prime suspect. The other groceries, in bags, were sitting on the porch. When I spoke with a Walmart representative on the phone, they gave me a refund–so definitely do follow up on that.

I receive Andrew’s TS today. I ordered “Healthy Hair, Skin and Nails.” It looks like the same bottle he uses for the 360, but this one does say 600. Looks like he has found a way to make the capsules smaller.

I got some of mine, but the HHS&N I had enough of, so pst-phoned ordering them until they are the TS. Some of the others I got on A, because I got 9 bottles of different, it was 20% off the sale price with free shipping.
