FRIDAY NIGHT TRIVIA, FEBRUARY 26, 2021
Because this is our last Trivia Game for the month of February, I thought you might enjoy the following:
“HOW MANY SECONDS ARE THERE IN ONE YEAR?”
“12 of them: January 2nd, February 2nd, March 2nd, April 2nd, May 2nd, June 2nd, July 2nd, August 2nd, September 2nd, October 2nd, November 2nd, December 2nd.”
“I can’t wait for Tuesday, February 22, 2022 (2/22/22). .
We can call it… 2’s day
It’s now nearing that 8:00 pm hour. Hmm.. it’s Friday night…… Time for Trivia
Hope you are all ready for some fun. For the newcomers, the questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade. Questions begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm EST. depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Also, join us in light conversation, ideas or whatever and LET THE FUN BEGIN…. 🙂💖

I use Apple Pay whenever possible. Your cc is in your Apple Pay wallet, but it uses a bogus # that it gives to the place you are shopping at. I don’t know exactly how it works, but many places online now accept it.

Your identity is the most important thing you have. Protect it the best way you can. I have a habit of shredding all papers that are not necessary to keep. I keep the bills I pay for a short period of time. However, paying for items with a credit card in a retail place it is best to be aware of your surroundings. Look at the people behind you, to the sides, and in front. If there is a line keep a watchful eye and if you notice something going on, tell the cashier so she/he can summon help. At gas stations do the same. However, thieves have been known to put a clip in the machine that gathers the info from your cc.. There is no way you would know this is occurring. It’s up to the station manager to check the pumps as well as the inside to make sure things go smoothly. I hope this helps. It’s so important these days to be observant and as you know that is not always possible.

Thank you! I did everything I had to do and spoke with a gal from the state of Ohio who said it could have been a data breach. It was on the local news that there are so many false claims that 40 more people were hired to investigate them. We are very careful when using our credit cards and are now and using gift cards at the stores instead of credit cards where we can. Thank you so much for all your wisdom when taking credit cards out to pay for purchases.

A few years ago, I purchased credit card protective sleeves from Samantha Brown to shield my cards. One of the things I plan to do to protect myself from thievery is to use a secured credit card — with a low limit for everyday use in grocery, etc. settings. It’s not fool-proof, but it would limit the damage. At gas stations, I only use cash.
Good luck with your situation. -

Thank you! If this happens to anyone you or know, act on it immediately! Too much evil out there!

Gabbie, you are most welcome. Since we do not subscribe to a newspaper, I do quite a bit of reading on line and had just come across an article pertaining to what you are going through. My CCs are wrapped in aluminum foil and I try not to give too much info about myself on line. There is also something I subscribe to called scambusters. It’s free and they send e-mails pertaining to viruses, scammers, etc.. I recommend their website: wwwscambusters.com

We got the letter that my husband was the claimant. The next day received a letter he was the employer. All with our address. I asked the gal from Ohio wouldn’t the unemployment check come here? She stated that they probably set up a direct deposit account. We had ten days to send the employer questions about the claimant back or they would pay them and send us the bill for payment if we did not respond. Good way to clean out your savings if you did not act immediately. I sent all info I had and sent it priority mail which they received in time. I am resting a little easier now. Thank you for the site on scambusters! God Bless all of you, stay safe from the virus and from scammers. I hope the weather is good where you are and have a great week!

Hi everyone. In PA we had temps in the 40’s and the piles of snow are shrinking. I’m starting to see my lawn again. Plus there are daffodils starting. They got fooled by the warm weather.

What are the temps at night?

And the question should read “than” not then. Poor grammar again.

Hi Ripley2. If the answer is incorrect, then you know the direct opposite would be the grammar. Never fails.
