I hope you are ready for some fun. For the newcomers, the questions can be found in the Rewards Store within the Arcade. Questions begin between 8 pm and 8:05 pm EST. depending upon your computer clock. There are six questions during the game. The last question is posted between 10:30 pm and 10:35 pm EST. Again, depending upon your computer clock. Each question lasts approximately 30 minutes, so you will need to come up with the correct response within that time frame. If you answer incorrectly, you will see a red “OOPS.” The incorrect response will not count against you unless the time is up. Each correct answer is worth 200 tickets to use in the Rewards Store against the Featured or Current Sweepstakes. So, before you tear your hair out, before you give up, just return to this thread where one or more of us will be able to help. Also, join us in light conversation, ideas or whatever and LET THE FUN BEGIN…. 🙂💖

The internet issues must be countrywide. I’ve been having issues for a month, off & on. Tech was out yesterday and installed updated modem. Today both cable tv & internet down again. Thank goodness I’m back up tonight, so I don’t miss the fun.

Sheba, we did some rain yesterday, enough to provide my plants in the back which are mostly herbs. The grass had a very good drink too. The Hibiscus in the front are filled with buds, soon to be flowers.

Hi Everyone. I am a little late. Yes, we are back in Florida. Hubby is doing better. He is talking up a storm and walking better as well. Right now we are waiting for take out delivery. I ordered from Grubhub and my order never made it to my front door. The restaurant was kind enough to give me a phone number and a person’s name but it was impossible for me to understand his Spanish. Looks like he is eating our dinner. Good news i received a credit and some extra $$. Bad news, I don’t think we will be utilizing Grubhub again.
Yes, I drove the van. Yes, I filled the tank. So many firsts that you all have been doing for years. Anyway, it’s good to be back in Florida.

I’m glad you made it back to Florida. I’ve never used Grubhub and after your bad experience, I don’t think I’ll try.
I have ordered via fast food apps and then drive to pickup. I have had great luck with Cheesecake Factory online order and curbside pickup. I get email ads from Uber food delivery, but never tried them.

Rest to repair your mind and body. I hope your husband becomes better and better with each day. I don’t know if you got a chance to read my comments on Sheba’s thread, when I was reading that you two had arrived home, you placed a big smile on my face. And my heart became warm with happiness that you got there safe.

That is wonderful news about your husband’s continued improvement! I am so relieved you made it home and kudos to you for your accomplishments in doing so. It is nerve-wracking enough to venture out from your home these days on a “regular” trip, but to do so when you haven’t driven the van, etc.–well, that deserves praise, yeah!! 👏👍

While in Georgia, I tried using Uber for the 16 mile ride to the rehab. I had problems with our credit card after three rides. Checked with the credit card company and found everything was OK. Tried to use the credit card on something and found I couldn’t use it. Contacted the company and after three days received a call stating that Uber was in the wrong. Everything is OK for now. I have since deleted the Uber app and the credit company has also been informed not to pay anything from that date onward. I started using Lyfts and the first driver became my chauffeur from that day on. Picked me up at the motel on time and brought me to the rehab where hubby and I enjoyed lunch and dinner.

I am sorry you had such a difficult time with Uber, they should monitor those things more. And help the customers right away. Glad you received a positive response from Lyft and was able to go back and forth as needed.

Oodie, I’m glad you had a good experience with Lyft. I have seen several news stories about Lyft drivers in CA raping their passengers. I guess it just depends on the driver.

I’ll bet it’s lovely to see all that rain! Sounds like your garden is growing in spite of the drought, with much-needed assistance from you, I’m sure. I have some tomato plants growing in containers near my front door, as I have to hand water them with jugs of water. They are growing but are on the small side. I need to transfer them to larger containers. It is really satisfying just growing something, isn’t it? 😀
