Hi OODIEBOM, I am back home. Took a few days of vacation and stayed up in Jacksonville. Got the house on the market now. Anyone want to purchase a house in Jacksonville, FL? It’s a great vacation home short commute to the beach.

You live in Orlando & have a vacation home In Jacksonville?

I grew up on 80 acres 20+ miles outside of Duluth, MN. I don’t mind visiting Orlando area. I don’t think I could live with so many people and the slow driving challenges. However, it does have many activities and places to dine.

I’m hearing crazy stories about the beaches on the West coast. During the winter and spring we were not able to go anywnere near the beach because of red tide. Now, if you have a rash, cut or bruises you cannot go on the sand because of bacteria that will attack that area. Funny, you do not hear this on the East coast.

I haven’t been down to west/gulf beaches for a few years. Before that I only encountered red tide once. YUCKY! Also, only had jellyfish once. I don’t ever want to be stung again. Once they are upon you, it’s hard to get away from them.

OODIEBOM , I believe that’s everywhere now. Not just one coast or another, one just have to be careful.

I finished a month of radiation for breast cancer in May. I just now feel my mind is clear again. Make sure to call the American cancer society and ask for help. It’s free. Good luck.

Victor, whatever you do, don’t lose hope. Not everyone can take the radiation and Chemo. There may be other meds that can do the job. It may be slower, but will work.

I still have my landline and have “cordless” phones (but I have one phone that can always be plugged in Incase of power failure).

Maybe the question should have said cell phones.

Who the heck called their phone landline before cordless phones? That would be no one!

Not even driving tonight. I stayed home today and had just gotten back from the grocery store.

So, what’s for dinner?????? 🙂

I thought I knew exactly… a large salad with rice, pinto beans, crushed tortilla chips, cheese, salsa , some ranch and chicken pieces…& tortilla.

THAT because my neighbors gave me a 20 piece dinner on Monday from a chain called El Pollo Loco…been eating on that all week.

However have spoiled some appetite because I got cucumber and avocado sushi rolls at the store…hadn’t tried them before…I love them and have almost eaten the entire tray. The store does $5 sushi every Friday, so occasionally have gotten California rolls but have wanted to try these. Think I like them better!
