Everything is fine with me. I went through a bit of depression back in June when my little papillon that I was exceedingly close to died unexpectedly. It was a total shock since she was the only dog I had at the time an none there to hold to release some of the grief. About 3 weeks after that my closest friend brought her most loved female papillon, Winnie, to me. This little girl was so used to my home that we both referred to my house as her second home! She actually stayed with me for five weeks when my friend’s husband died at their son’s home on the East Coast. There was also the issue that a younger show dog in the house was trying to take over the position of “head ” which results in some pretty bad fights. Ergo, Winnie in my house is a whole different dog since she isn’t being challenged every time Kara laid eyes on her. For me to get a new puppy was out of the question since I am 85 years old and have some mobility restrictions that would make it very difficult to take on the training of a new baby dog. Life is good now.
Hope we “see” you on the 25th and pray your husband is doing well.

So sorry to hear about your loss. A four-legged fur ball is more than a pet. It’s your child and to lose one is so devastating. Happy that a dear friend brought you her beloved pet. You may want to try rescuing a senior dog. My neighbor did that and had two. She lost the older one to cancer and a bad case of arthritis over this past weekend. Her other pooch has the saddest face, so I know pets feel the loss as well.
My hubby is doing well. His dementia is almost non existent. However I was really concerned with his bladder and kidneys when they were not functioning as well as they should be. We went to a real good group of urologists and they did lots of tests. His prostate, though enlarged was not causing the problem and his kidneys were good as well. Last week he had the bladder tested and that is also working. However, there is a small blockage and that means surgery though not invasive, will require anesthesia. The surgery is scheduled the end of November and the day after the catheter will be removed. The only issue will be getting him to the bathroom in a wheelchair. Because of his left knee he is unable to stand or walk. That is the next issue. And speaking of this part, I had to have lab work done and while waiting picked up a magazine that spoke of a way to regenerate the muscles surrounding the knee. This is a new thing and I will be doing some research on this. Sounds too good to be true and it just might be. Please join us when you can. You have been missed.
